My opinion on this word is that of utter respect. It is much like the word "no" and is used in many more variations. It also has the slang counterpart of "nopers" which can be observed in local retail outlets. My studies on the word "nope" have been quite extensive and its origins are still unknown. Many point to the Latin phrase "nopula marxus" which is translated "not phonics". Over centuries of cultural transplantation and transference we have come to this newly birthed word "nope".

In my opinion, relationships are great. Romantic relationships on the other hand can be quite tricky. It's a matter of being in it for the right reason. If you're just in it for the "now-and-fun" aspect you're using the other person in the relationship. It may not be purposefully but in a sense you become an emotional parasite and when your fulfilled you just drop off and attach yourself to the next host. As for being in it for the right reason, you don't want to hear that. Nobody does, that's why they avoid it.
