No, but ahahaha I actually considered working at a maid cafe that recently opened back then, but after looking into it, I realized the following:

1.) The "Help Wanted" sign stated "Looking for cute young Chinese girls that speak fluent Chinese." It just sounds kind of shady in my opinion.
2.) I can't speak fluent Chinese. Maybe I'd have a chance if it were Cantonese, but based on the other stores in the plaza, I think they meant fluent Mandarin and I can't speak/understand a speck of mandarin. =-=;
3.) I realized the girls that were hired were kind of getting hated on 'cause the food and drinks there were kind of -- really expensive compared to the other stores nearby. The quality wasn't even that great and it was only pricey because of the maid waitresses who didn't even act their part as a typical Japanese maid cafe kind of maids. They were like normal waitresses dressed up as maids so customers were not pleased at the cruddy service and food.
4.) Turns out there were moss and bugs all over the corners of the store that no one bothered to check/clean up so it got closed down really quickly. I'm glad I never signed up for that. Phew!

But ahh, idk if I would ever work as one. I don't have good enough people skills to do so. xD
