What are you grateful for today?
-
Skinny Puppy. Or Cocteau Twins. Both, maybe.
-
Doesn't really matter what the dish is, I just like the way they all sound in Spanish.
-
Relocating to the UK. If I look forward to it any harder my eyes will pop out.

I've had a lot of teachers who I could choose as a favourite, but the "best" ones were those who taught me something I needed to know just when I needed to know it.

In terms of brands or blends? I don't pay as much attention to branding as I do to pricing, in which case the blends aren't very distinguished at the cheap end. Whenever I need a change, I throw a couple of different flavours of teas in together (cranberry never disappoints.)

Galaxy Tab! :D

Ohh, bacon: sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it. Mostly I try to avoid it, to prevent triggering either extreme and, you know, the usual reasons.
-
The idea is fun to think about but I don't believe in ghosts, no. I'm tempted to say that I would want proof, but that's not it at all - I just can't be bothered to care.

In all honesty, and at the risk of sounding like a survey respondent, I am neither more nor less likely to support a local business. All things being equal, it comes down to how I feel at the time: if Local A is right next door to Chain B and I can see that A is crowded while B is empty, then I would choose to enter B. If, at the same time, I know that Chain B always seems to be ten degrees warmer inside than in Local A, I might enter A regardless of the crowd rather than sweat it out at B. The economic factor is an important consideration, but it is not the only criterion I would take into account.

I don't understand how that would look like an anticlockwise spin to anyone, but I guess that's my whichever-brain at work.

The best plan for my weekends is to have no plan at all. :)
-
Either too much or not enough - there is no such thing as a "happy medium" when it comes to sleep.

The last time I even owned a TV, the Unabomber was still running around loose in Montana.

Oh, boy do I prefer to be on the photographer's end of a camera!
The question reminds me of this exchange between Bill Pullman (as Fred Madison) and Lou Eppolito (as Ed) in David Lynch's Lost Highway - although I should add that, unlike Fred Madison, I'm fairly certain I've just got this one personality:
Fred Madison: I like to remember things my own way.
Ed: What do you mean by that?
Fred Madison: How I remembered them. Not necessarily the way they happened. -
Either something very, very big or else something very, very small. Possibly something neither big nor small, but living so deep down that no one even knows it's there.

My one wish is that every person may adopt a compassionate attitude towards one's self and towards one another.

This question assumes that my kitchen is stocked with enough scratch to make a meal; I'm currently on the subsistence diet. :S

I don't think I have a favourite blog. There are so many of them out there, each one interesting in its own way, that I just enjoy whichever one I happen to be reading at the time. I often bookmark them and/or subscribe to RSS feeds but I haven't made a habit of checking any of them regularly - I keep finding new ones and reading those instead!
-
To be honest, I haven't seen any of the films that were released in the past year, I have no idea which ones were nominated, and although I do love film, I couldn't care less about awards ceremonies, sorry!

Shane’s Bio
Born: Pre-Episode 4. (If you don't know what that means, don't ask.)
Died: I'll get back to you.
