Pen tablets do give you the option of including your own writing BUT I've found it almost impossible to write that small (and neatly) with them. Maybe I need to play around with the settings a bit more. The easier option is to have a font created using your own handwriting. There are a couple of folks that I would recommend: Darcy Baldwin at www.sweetshoppedesigns.com, as well as Amanda at http://www.kevinandamanda.com/fonts. If you are willing to try it yourself, then you can use Fontifier (it costs $9.00 per font if you choose to purchase it). It was an easy process -- though you do need access to a scanner. http://www.fontifier.com/

The way I see it, it's an easier way to ask questions and get them answered. Liz and I decided to use it as a way to gather questions related to our album planning series -- I think it's a little more transparent than email perhaps, since the answer is out there for everyone to see. Of course, it's like any of the other social media available -- it can be useful, or it can end up being a time-suck. I guess I'm still looking at it optimistically.

I wish I had MORE style....I don't consider myself a very stylish person. I always am a bit envious of those women who look pulled together all the time, especially the ones who make it seem so effortless.

I can't think of one that made me laugh, but the University of Kentucky cheerleading performance at the 2010 National Competition absolutely blew my mind. It was insane.

I didn't watch much TV as a child. We lived out in the country, so no cable, no satellite. I do remember watching The A-Team most days after school, and The Cosby Show was another favorite in our household.

There are so many people in my life whom I consider to be heroes. Little Quincy, who is battling cancer, and his whole family. My sister, who is carrying her first child, after 10 years of fertility issues. My mom, who lost her husband after 25 years of marriage, but was able to pick up the pieces and move on with her life. Ordinary people who continue to live their lives and celebrate all the ordinary moments, even when things look hopeless. They are heroes in my eyes.

I do have some new digi kits coming out in March -- I'm in the process of getting everything finished. I'll have a free kit up in the shop this week, and then I have plans for two or three additional kits (with matching word art, alphas, frames, and other add-ons) to go up during March. And since it's Customer Appreciation Month on my blog, you'll have a chance to win everything!
