job scope: alternating between sitting and standing, lurking around behind visitors to make sure they don't touch the artwork, shouting at the occasional dimwit who does, etc. pretty basic stuff but personally it's really nice to be able to have conversations with strangers about art.
pay: um, 6.50 an hour if I remember correctly -
I know one of the assistant programming managers from a concert I organised at the Glass Hall. but really you could just walk in and ask to apply, they hire anyone from hardcore kids to little old aunties!

to be honest I'm not very sure- what does the term illustrator entail? I can go on forever about favourite artists but illustrators, hmm. if you count graphic designers I really dig Matt Lyon http://www.flickr.com/photos/c86/ amongst others... does David Beauchard count? gee I wish I could answer this question proper :(

I KNOW RIGHT, it makes me want to kill kittens. And you know how much I LOVE kittens. Good luck for your future French lessons though, I hope you meet a lovely French boy to parlez Francais with and be tres bien at it! (LOL FAIL @self)

I speak English and Malay. I took French lessons for a year but gave up after I developed a severely allergic reaction to conjugation. That aside, I can swear in a bunch of different dialects (Hokkien, Cantonese, Tamil, Hindi, Mandarin etc) like all real Singaporeans should!
