Yes! I loved Freshers week and first year (mostly), I stopped going out so much about halfway through second year though, something just clicked and I realised I wanted more from my degree than hangovers and morning afters! (:

Thank you! (: I'd say just be persistent, and always keep looking. I generally do the rounds on Gorkana, FashionMonitor, Diary Directory, etc. and look for positions that I think suit me, my abilities and my interests, then take my time in writing a goood cover letter! Not sure about motivation, I'm generally quite a career-driven person ^___^

The company I was interning for is taking a summer hiatus until September, they closed on Friday, so I'm not needed any more (: bit unfair considering I'd penciled that placement in to last until January 2013!

It depends how much travelling you're doing! If you're going to be visiting lots of places in the same day, it will probably be cheaper to get a day, all zones travelcard for the Tube (:
