I have two dear, dear cats. Roy and Rupert. Roy is a gray/brown calico-ish with a sense of adventure who loves long walks on the beach and cuddles that turn into strifes. Rupert is a dazzling ginger beast who sports a red collar because honestly, darling, if one wants to stand out in a crowd, one has to make bold choices. He loves yarn, breasts, and stealth vomiting.

Sending you a PM, and I'll answer in detail in a blog post (great idea) but here is the short form of what I did this last time:
-- if comfortable, crowd source for locations, recommendations, and generally information-gather about your area
-- do more info-gathering. I looked at any websites I could find, and made some preliminary calls. My most important questions were: what are your hours, what are the rates, and are you funded or backed by a religious organization.
-- your insurance website may also have a list of counseling orgs that they will fund
-- the deciding factor for me this past time was that I found a place that 1) was willing to work with my availability, 2) had interns that saw me for $10 a session instead of the $50 my insurance would get, and 3) the primary appointment where I got a feel for the counselor and was assured that I wouldn't be judged on sexual orientation or religious issues. -
Blue is one of the few colors that, for me, represents both calm and regeneration. I feel like, if I were surrounded with shades of blue all the time, I could breathe a little deeper and simultaneously not *need* to.

Not like, as a hard and fast rule. There are a few I enjoy, but most of my favorite films are stand-alones, and films I can't even imagine a sequel for.

Minnesota and The Big Move are on the books, but as far as a fun, whimsical vacation goes... I would love to go to Canada. Maybe Spain. Australia... someday.

At work: a semi-serene grove of trees. At home: my three pets, two cats perched on a windowsill flanking my plant.

Under ideal circumstances, yes.

Move. Buy a house. Write.

I'm pretty sure my mom wanted a Bible name, and my dad said no. So I'm a compromise: Marcia is the female form of Mark. Fun times.

Just one, English. I know words in others. Phrases.

No specific brand. I love practically everything on ModCloth, just wish that they fit my breasts better. Sadpanda.

I am exceptionally bad at remembering things. I make lists and write in a planner, but forget to check them.

Hot. I think my body chemistry has changed since starting derby. I HATE being cold.

I just read a little preview article and Annie Clark gave away some of the things I've been wondering. Honestly, while Degrassi can be terribly unsubtle when it comes to these things, they usually handle gayness pretty well. I'm still just worried about Holly J, and what this means for her.

I don't know. It's usually late summer, I think.

I want to say Sarah Palin, but that's just answering her rhetoric with more of the same. Let's go with FOX news.
