Well semen is virtually harmless if consumed so don't worry you won't die or get pregnant from it. My personal preference is not to swallow because just the smell puts me off. It usually smells like chlorine but it ranges depending on the guy's health. Taste wise, I heard that it can be from tasteless, sweet or bitter. If you're uncomfortable with anything sexually, don't do it! Just because your bf wants you to do it doesn't mean you have to oblige to it. Sorry for a late response hunnie, hope that helped!

Are you doing anything to make her THAT insecure? Maybe you've lost her trust in the past? Trust is earned so try to do things that'll reassure her of her position in your heart. If you haven't done anything wrong, then the problem is on her and she needs to reflect on that.
