I haven't really thought post wedding (well about the blog!). Let the people decide!

I think my post today highlights my issues with revealing the real me. We shall see. I want to, I really do.

Aha, a clever double bluff on my part? Alas no, his name is not been nor the anagram of Bane, Neba or Bena!

I have called him Bean for sometime now. My first "pet" name (I hate that word!) was Hunchy (no idea where that came from!) and it has since evolved to Bean (somewhat nicer!).

As for the name of the blog. Obviously I adore the play on words! I hope you all do too. The name came to me soon after the darling Bean proposed and the rest I guess is history.

It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago that I realised people who have not been reading my ramblings from the start would not know that it is indeed my rather amateur attempt of capturing my ring.

Do you like it? I think it is wondrous. It is(was) my future mother's engagement ring offered to her on the same weekend we shall be wed over 40 years previously!

I am truly honoured to wear it for a short time before I can bestow it open a future son or daughter. Although I'll be hanging on to it for as long as I can!

I had longed for a monster emerald cut diamond ring yet little did I know my heart belonged to a dark, dark sapphire.

      Gosh, what a difficult question.

I honestly think if I had the means I would love to marry in London with a legally binding Humanist ceremony. Just to walk on the streets in full regalia would just be magical.

It makes me a little sad that I can't.

(Indeed that may be a topic for a post in the future! I'm getting better at blog promotion, aren't I!?)

Bean and I met at our halls of residence in Notting Hill Gate in the autumn of 2000. The heavens were truly aligned. I had originally planned to attend a different university and the year after. Bean was on a completely different course from me (Computer Science - true geekery) so the chances of him meeting a cool medic like me were slim to none. Our university had at least 20 different halls spread across London. So whilst I am sure I could work our the probability of us both being at the same halls I'm still going to pretend it was a miracle!

Neither of us can recall our first encounter as our first weeks of university are still somewhat a blur.

Our first kiss, however, we do recall!

Just me and my brother. Hated him when I was younger. He always got away with murder and then blamed it on me. He still is the golden boy but now I love him even though he is consistently annoying! Not quite yet as hilarious as I am though, so I can still pretend to be better than him. He disagrees!

Would love him to have a girl (or boy-we do not yet know)friend so I can have an ally in the endless teasing which occurs around our family table.

      P.S. Do cats count?

Frivolously - the deliciousness of Net-A-Porter or Vogue. How freakin' awesome?

Soberly - I would love the chance to speak out about depression but maybe I'll just start up my own little charity (or preferably a useful government think tank) for that?

Without a doubt Tim Walker! Amazing!

I do have a wedding photographer lined up (I hope!) but you shall have to wait and see!

I guess I should say Bean. After all, he did laugh me into bed!

He makes me tear up with giggles!

Of comedians - I guess I would say Stuart Lee (oh the prawns!) and Dara O'Brian.

Well not tameable enough for a bow (a la gaga). I tried the white girl corn row look but I have a rather odd shaped skull and so look rather alien like.

I still have no idea what I am going to with my hair. To veil or not to veil? I have recently started a tentative fringe (bangs) which is rather exciting for me!

Maybe sexy waves? Maybe a sleek chignon? I think I shall be changing my mind up until the day. I may just let it be and let it run free!

How to explain without sounding too weird. 1. I genuinely enjoy helping people (the one thing you shouldn't say at an interview!). The best part of my job is the ability to change lives. Now that may not be jumping up and down on someone's chest, in fact it often isn't. It's the moment you get angry relatives to understand you actually care about their loved one. Or the moment someone reveals the real reason they have come to see you. Or the fact someone finds they can be "cured" with one tiny pill.

      2. As a young, and in hindsight rather morbid, girl I was enthralled by the role of the forensic pathologist. To discover how someone died and also help medicine in one seemed like a most poetic career choice. It may be a while before I can follow this dream but I shall learn something from each patient along the way.

Medicine is a wonderful career despite the fact we are oft treated poorly by our patients, superiors and the press. I honestly do not know what I would rather do (and trust me when I say there are days when I wish I could do anything else.)

Hmm tough one. A cross between Robin Hood Princes of Thieves, The Bodyguard, Little Shop of Horrors, Funny Face and any terrible scary movie e.g. Saw!

London, of course! Obviously I am open to suggestions and I am only young with so much travel to do!

Pink, oh yes pink. It's the one colour that makes me happy. I like to think it makes me look good too!
