Yes, I have been bullied and the way I dealt with it was to become an adult as quickly as possible. This was probably not the best way, but it was my way, and it worked for me. I think that you just have to grow up about it, which I took too far in terms of leaving my childhood. Basically, I just left school and my adolescence behind, but this isn't possible for everyone, especially younger kids. But what you can do is become internally mature, and stop the hurting from the inside. No one can hurt you without your consent, which means we decide how we will react to something. I chose not to be hurt, and remove myself from the situation, but this takes a lot of resolve and self control. I have been hurt and bullied for as long as I could remember because I was such a strange kid, and grew into a strange adult. Fortunately this strangeness was a great blessing, and I live a charmed and happy life because of my strangeness. I am grateful for what I went through, although it was not easy at all.
