This may be too tough of a question to answer, but I struggle with good skin tones when I use backlighting, especially with afternoon sunlight. Your skin tones always look so nice and creamy; do you have any tips on how to achieve this? Thank you!!
Eeek tough one yes. And I really wish I had an answer for you, other than perhaps it would help to post something on my blog with backlit images and the settings I used?
I'm blogging tomorrow with some of that "behind the scenes" stuff as someone asked yesterday about my recent session. I'll have to find some good backlit ones to do a similar thing.
In all honesty I always over-expose some with sunset-type portraits then bring the light down in LR. If I underexpose I get dark and usually hopeless images.
