No wait, I'll answer another one because I received a more sensible answer and one that I actually agree upon.
Upon the words of an awesome photographer friend of mine :
"given the technology, and the pursue for perfection, i say why not.
it's a digitalized world now, so i think it's okay to edit your pictures the way you like it, or they way you think other people would like it.
photography is a form of art, so there's no fully right or wrong about a picture, it's just how a person sees it in their own eye. the given rules are just a guideline for us to follow, and yes we should learn the basic stuff first before venturing to what we like"
So thanks, I will STILL learn but I like the way I do my pictures and I'll learn it my way. :) -
Right, so I received three of the roughly same message but I'm only going to reply to one. So yes, I am well aware that I need to "experiment" to develop better pictures and I do really, I do. But I like it better when my pictures are more vintage-looking or edited with some effects, but thanks for the advice

Sorry, what's photography in your definition?
Even the best photographers edit their pictures and even if they don't, it's their pictures. They do it their way, and I do it mine.

Urmm, I use my kit most of the time cause I can't macro or zoom with the prime (obviously lol). But the kit's not very nice so I'm saving up for a new zoom.
