GOOGLE. you'll be amazed at what you can find through them. um, but also PIONEER WOMAN is a fab. resource for that and just about anything else that's photography(i say basic) related.
-
i was given a d40 to start with so i've just basically stuck with them just because it's what i'm familar with! although, can't say i haven't considered switching. maybe in the future i'll look into it more...
-
i think it's a great lens for portraits! the 1.4 i'm sure gives stellar bookeh. i've heard lots of really good things about it(and i've SEEN some AMAZING shots taken with it) wish i could say more but i don't own it. at least, not YET! ha.ha.ha.
-
FOREVER 21. i love love love that store. cute and affordable. what can possibly compare?! but also, gap, and if i could everyday anthro, jcrew, urban outfitters. SWOON!
-
i made snow cones. took orders. cleaned. and put money in this contraption... i think it's called a cash register or something? ha!
first and best paying job to date. -
i usually do all of my basic adjustments in ACR and get the photo just right in photoshop. THEN i use gradient map(image>adj>gradient map), make sure the little tile called "black and white" is selected and then i move the sliders to fix the blacks and lightness. once that is done, i create a new hue/saturation layer, click the little colorize box, and find a brownish/yellowish color and bring the opacity down reallly low, like 25% and bump up the contrast slightly, maybe 2-3. and that's how i get my creamy chocolate black and whites
also, sometimes i'll use an action. lately it's been the latter. -
oh i know! unfortunatly i can't because of the whole legality issue, etc etc. the main photog. had a contract with the bride releasing the modeling rights over to her so, i can't. boo.
but i can say that it was such a fun experience! i learned and had a blast doing it! the couple was perfect, the day was perfect... and well, you read my post. sooo... :) -
50mm f1.4 af-s
dang best lens i've ever owned. -
so exciting!
um, i've more or less kindof settled on BUSINESS(biz management, etc. something along those lines) i figure it's my best bet and i don't really want to go to an art shool and get my major in photography because, quite frankly i'd rather not learn about the "art of photography" or the basics. DRAAAAAG!
good luck! ;) -
seattle. i've been obsessed with that city for, well, forever. but i mean, can you blame me? that city is incred.
i only hope to actually visit it someday, haha! -
so, this is going to sound so nerdy, and just weird but SPANISH PHRASES. yes, i am so serious.
exam is TOMORROW. -
nailing the perfect white balance IN CAMERA. like, without the need for pp in ACR. how awesome would that be!??
-
oh gol, this is kindof a hard question. i could say my FIRST digital camera, or dslr(which sparked my love for photography) OR that AMAZING(yes, so so amazing) princess cut, birthstone ring surounded by DIAMONDS! (bling bling, sweet sixteen) that i posted about on my blog.
it's basically a tie. =) -
first, try and find as much good light as possible. def key! then, I would most likely set my aperture at its lowest(for me its f1.4) and depending on the subject, adjust my iso and shutter speed accordingly.
-
