Probably not. Because that's alot of baggage to leave behind with someome. I'm not sure though to be honest because I've never been met with a situation remotely close to that one. It's just one of those things.

I really hope this is a guy asking me this question because if is a girl, I wouldn't even know what to say to you tbh but I'll give it my best shot in the case of both scenarios.
A (Guy version): That hormone crap man is a lame ass excuse, your choice is what you choose to do. I get that we are all human and all make some mistakes, but in this case you've burned a bridge. And you took away trust.
I'm glad you apologized to the girl but as far as you 2 being anything in the future, the RIGHT thing to do is to leave her alone. Not the "MANLY" thing, whatever the Hell that means, but the right thing. Even if she persists on trying to talk/see you. For like ever btw, in case you didn't understand what I meant.
A (Girl version): Look if a guy does that once, I can guarantee you that he will do it again. And next time, either no won't be an answer or you'll be too scared or pressured to say anything else. Listen to his apology, accept it, and end things with him right there. That is what the smart and right thing is to do there. And since girls are like 200x smarter than boys, I hope you'll take the high road C=
P.s. 8/10 no one will do either of these things because there too scared, naive, ignorant, or lustful to protect themselves or the other person. You have to live life based your own decisions though. If you feel like this person is worth the risk, go for it. But where I'm standing... these are the best solutions.
