it's pending. I have places at schools, but I took off the semester for some financial bullshit. I'm also waiting for response to see if I got a full ride for my 5 year dual degree program.

WHO ARE YOU HAHA I feel awkward tutoring you on the class and you're not even in it. I could help you better if you just came up to me and asked whatever. I'm trying to be thorough, but I'm also freakin tired of writing this stuff out forever...no offense dear.

Who is Justin Beaver. Good for him that he came out I guess?

Oh god, I got A's for the MP, I dont think I took a final? The midterm I got an A. Aaahh I don't remember!? Yes, but everyone had the same work, if you weren't AP, it either didn't count against you or was just EC. Also, if you weren't AP, you didn't have to memorise as much kanji because you didn't need to take the AP exam obviously. Just take the class and drop down to Japanese 4 if you realise you don't have time for all the memorising and essays and your AP test isn't going to benefit you at all. Otherwise, just try it, it's hard but it's a good experience.

she expects you to recognize, or at least figure out the meaning -she usually teaches you little tricks like what individual parts of the kanji mean-, and write a little more and more as the year goes on. a lot of the stuff she gives you is reading comprehension, so you can make an educated guess, but at some point in the year, if you're not already there, she's going to consistently quiz you on sets of kanji from the packet. At least once a week if not every few days. I think that may have been later in the year though.
By hands-on, I mean you really have to be involved in the work she gives you, otherwise it's easy to fall behind. She almost always literally hands you the questions or things that you will see again shortly on a quiz or essay topic. And although she's really very nice and understanding, I encourage you not to take advantage of her kindness and patience. -

fun. it was really a lot of lessonwork. it's not like any of the 3 preceding classes. it's interactive, hands-on. but pay attention during class and review using the book. she pretty much gives you everything you need from resources to lessons in class. she just expects you to memorize your kanji ;) keep up with those or they'll bite you in the knickers later
