haha I don't think so... I mean it all boils down to the individual right? some can play all day and get a cap >4.5. I think what's important is that you manage your time well, have a balance in both work and play. you'll enjoy uni life without compromising on your grades that way :)

haha your first question's funny. if there's work to be done, people will use their free days to catch up! if not, enjoy it! I usually watch all my online shows on that day though. last sem, I had only a 3 day work week (actually 4, but Thursday I had only one lecture so I skipped all of them except for the first one and watch it through webcast lol), but usually FASS people are more free than others. depends on your faculty!

I think hall life (tembusu, rather) has had a great impact on my university life. brought much more joy, friendships, excitement... :) you should really try it out. be open-minded and try to get involve with the activities and you should be fine!! oh ya join any camp. the camp's atmosphere will definitely make you open yourself up more easily!!

this week I didn't really do much! except for yesterday: I went for facial/massage, then drove to ikea to buy the giant blue Ikea recyclable bags to store my unwanted clothing, then brought my sister out for icecream! but tmr, friday and sat I will be going out so I'll be blogging with pictures - find that more interesting compared to just words alone :)

omg wow that was so long ago.. think last year?? we only played it once! there's a group of students who are in charge of the game. so whoever wants to play, submit their names and they're in! you'll receive the name of your mortal (i.e. you're someone's angel, but that someone doesn't know you as the angel). then you start 'blessing' your mortal with stuff. like food (there was this angel who even brought back bedok blk 85 bak chor mee to tembusu LOL, island creamery icecream..... etc etc all the nice yummy food), stuff that you think one may find useful (e.g. container to store $1 coins for laundry, sign of the mortal's name on his/her door) yeah so it's an ongoing thing over a period of 2-3 months, until 'revelation day' whereby you get to know who's your angel!

easier said than done: DISCIPLINE & CONTROL. maybe you can set a limit to your spending, by 'declaring' a certain minimum amount in your bank account. like now you have $x, so you set the amount to be $y. you must tell yourself you cannot have anything less than $y in your account. remember to always ask yourself before your purchase: "do i really need this?" haha i learnt that from confessions of a shopaholic!

hmm in what sense? but in general, i guess girls now are more open and breaking out of the traditional stereotype of what it takes to be a 'female' - in the past, women are expected to stay at home and take care of domestic chores and children. but now, with more females being educated, such social norms are evolving

fass doesn't have homework lol. it has assignments! usually one per module. it can be in the form of essays, or project work. of course there's no more compre haha your level of understanding should be already of a certain level. for the type of essays... i guess it really depends on what module you take though. like soci? or psych? or new media etc? they're all different!

hellooo aww glad you're happy ;) sadly it isn't my camera (i use a canon S95), i was using my friend's canon G12. it is slightly bulky but it is a really good camera!
