Well, I first fell in love with Beethoven when I was 6 or 7, and my grandma bought me a CD with his 5th and 9th symphonies. I've always been a nerd.

It is much appreciated. As we all know, belittling a person via Formspring is a great way to make them change their ways.

Well, this comment has certainly been life-changing. :)

Ugh. Way to NOT sell a cello. The finger tapes are definitely not helping. Hahaha.

Thank you! I know what you mean. :) I actually want to perform, too (I think I would get burnt out from just teaching REALLY fast), but I'm working on an education degree and the Suzuki thing because the reality is that, even if I'm performing, I'll probably be teaching as well if I want to make a decent living.

I haven't really played in an orchestra with a conductor that's a SUPER big deal. I'm in the Flagstaff Symphony and the conductor right now is Elizabeth Schulze.

I've played some pretty awesome ones. Mahler 1 and Beethoven 9 rocked my world, it didn't even matter what the rest of the program was. I REALLY want to play Beethoven 3. I haven't given up hope that I get the chance to play it at NAU before I graduate. Also, there's a rumor going around that we might play Pines of Rome next year.... *crosses fingers*

God I wish I could remember... I'm good at throwing down small words like "za" (it's legit, look it up) and getting epic points for that.
