i would set the camera in "A" (aperture) mode, and open it as wide as possible. This might be f/2.8 on a expensive lens or f/4 or f/5.6 on a kit lens. Depending on the lighting conditions you'll probably want your ISO between 400 - 1600. When you're in aperture mode, the camera will automatically set the shutter speed, but you want it to be about 1/500th or faster.

we don't sell CDs, but we do allow you to sell downloads -- so it's effectively the same thing, and faster! you can definitely sell prints and products no problem.
every photoshelter account comes with a website, so you can have a public library of searchable images. -

I'm not quite sure what a blogger gadget is. You should be able to embed the code when you're in the code mode in blogger. If you're having trouble, you can always contact our support at support@Photoshelter.com.

We have discussed the idea of smart galleries in the past, and we still haven't made a decision on whether to support it or not. It's a bit dicier doing it as an online service than it is when you have a smart album in iTunes

rights managed licenses always deliver the full resolution image. the terms of the license dictate the usage, so legally speaking, there's no need to send them a small image.

sorry, you're having trouble. it's very unlikely that it is our software -- more likely that you're running into memory leaks with the browser or the implementation of flash. my best recommendation is that you make sure you have 1) sufficient RAM in your computer, 2) the most up-to-date version of firefox, chrome, safari or internet explorer, 3) the most up-to-date version of flash. if you're still having trouble, you might want to try using the other upload methods like our desktop uploader or plugins for lightroom and aperture.

seamless paper is the most cost effective in my opinion. get a few different bright colors -- it can look great.

a link is a link. they're all the same thing. google doesn't differentiate between a blog, a webpage, as long as it resides on the web and is crawl-able by their system.
