All the time! My own stuff, that is, I like to copy/ paste layers and move them around, etc. I don't copy/paste ref though, I draw it myself (unless it is a skeleton in sketchup, but then I end up drawing over it anyways) (I've stopped using those, they are getting a bit too crutch-y and I'd rather see an organic, imperfect environment than a precisely sterile one).
