I spent the holidays doing a whole lot of nothing, but that was a refreshing change from the norm. I don't really do the whole new year's resolutions thing, but I'm trying to be a better student, and, on the whole, person.

Of all time? I don't think I have an answer for that question. I usually pick favorite songs by band. Putting me on the spot for only one song, though, is going to get you... American Pie by Don McLean.

One takes a deep breath, possibly re-evaluates their life (at least checks their premises), and goes on. The first step is always the hardest.

Hmm... up until a few months ago I used to say Kyuhyun. 'Cause, you know, I want to marry him and all. But then this whole Geng issue broke out and the first and only thought that came to my mind was, "How could you do this to Heechul?! He better have known! If he didn't know, if this came to a surprise to him like it did for us, I will never forgive you, Han Geng!" And that's when I realized it - Kim Heechul's my favorite member.

Goodness, what a difficult question! For years I answered this with, "Why are you trying so hard to fit in when you were born to stand out?" from What a Girl Wants, but... I honestly can not remember anything about that movie anymore. Just that I saw it as an obnoxious pre-teen. Which does not make me want to see it again. Association... sometimes it's a terrible thing.
There's an old TV show called Barney Miller. I'm somewhat in love with the character Arthur Dietrich. I can't think of any particular line - it's just a general love of all things him.
Literature: Wuthering Heights. My all time favorite book. And there are some very, very good lines in that novel. This section has to be my favorite, though: "And I pray one prayer—I repeat it till my tongue stiffens—Catherine Earnshaw, may you not rest as long as I am living! You said I killed you—haunt me, then! The murdered do haunt their murderers. I believe—I know that ghosts have wandered on earth. Be with me always—take any form—drive me mad! only do not leave me in this abyss, where I cannot find you! Oh God! it is unutterable! I cannot live without my life! I cannot live without my soul!"

*laughs* Hmm... let's see. I like seeing how/why things are the way they are. But that screams physics and I hate physics. More like, I love seeing something that's solid, but knowing it's so much more than that. Atoms rattling around and bonds forming and all. My favorite area, hands down, is Organic. The first day of class, when my professor announced, "Here's the rules of Organic Chemistry: #1 Carbon makes four bonds #2 There are no other rules," I sat back in my seat and thought, "Oh yeah~ This is where I belong." I love how it can look perfect on paper and never possibly work in real life. I love resonance forms and how there's always, "It could be this, and it could be that, but what you'll actually find is a hybrid of the two." I love taking nasty reactants and doing long lab procedures and ending up with something totally innocent *points to the preparation of isopentyl acetate (banana oil)*
Favorite element... that's a difficult one. I'm gonna have to go with chlorine because it's a slut. lol Sort of an inside joke between my classmates. We were learning about halogens' selectivity relating to the stability of carbons and after our professor explained how bromine's very selective and chlorine - not so much, one of my friends said, "Yeah, chlorine's an atom slut." Not only did it become a joke, it was actually helpful in remembering the concept. Yeah... I'm such a science nerd. hehe
