Street smarts FOR SURE! You could be the smartest person in the world but if you don't have those street smarts you'll e taken advantage of and only make it so far if you don't have the people skills/street smarts.

I would say my main advice is what I said at the end of my coming out video - once you're confident with yourself it becomes so much easier! When you're confident with yourself you can show people why being you is awesome and how one part of "you" doesn't define you or "revealing" part of you don't change who you are. I'm glad you enjoyed the video - I struggled a lot and figured I'd put my story out there to maybe help anyone. :)

Aww schucks, thanks :) If you're asking about the music group (which I had to wikipedia...) I don't think I had ever heard of them before, but i'm sure they're great!

It all happens for the best. Him and I were great together and we both got a lot out of the relationship, I guess sometimes in relationships one of the parties isn't getting all that he wanted and you should never feel held back in a relationship.

Of course I would care about lots of other people - if I had a wonderful life filled with things and great experiences but the people around me weren't important I would find it the most unfulfilling life I could have

Dan and I are still in an open relationship - It's something that works well for us and unless something really changes I don't know if we'd ever need to be monogamous. The reason we're in an open relationship is that we want our relationship to be about the emotional connection and companionship - so cheating for us would becoming emotionally involved with another person - i.e. we don't date other people

Very cool! Well it's the 5th largest metro in the states... so lots of different places to go around here! I'm actually at a med school right here in Mesa - thought you might have been goin' there! That would have been crazy :)

What school are ya goin to out here in Mesa? I wouldn't say it's super accepting or not accepting - it just is! But it's close enough to phoenix and scottsdale which are the more upscale accepting gay areas in the valley! So there aren't tons of men out here in Mesa, but there are tons of opportunities to meet people out here in the valley!
