As for the artists - there are loads of inspiring individuals, so it's hard to say just one name. If I should name three of my current favourites, then maybe: Aleksi Briclot, Bobby Chiu and James Gurney.

It depends. Simple, sometimes slightly elegant, sometimes more sporty... and mainly black.

The Jungle Book. We had an edition with illustrations by our excellent artist Zdeněk Burian. This was the second reason - except the story itself - why I loved this book so much.

Definitely the 'Color and light' book by James Gurney. I'm expecting it to be delivered any minute.

I used to watch 'Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction?' when I was a kid. This was one of my favourite tv shows and in fact I wouldn't mind watching it again someday. But nowadays I do not spent much time in front of a tv, so I can't really say I watch something regularly - except the news :)

Ahoj, moc děkuju za pochvalu! Pokud si to vybavuji správně, Tereza se mi ozvala asi před rokem a půl, s dotazem na obálku. V té době jsem ještě ani neměla blog, ten vznikl o něco málo později. Slovo dalo slovo, její příběhy (a hlavně postavy) mě zaujaly a já se pustila do prvních skic. Co se Hladových přání týče - vždycky jsem si vybrala nějaký moment, který mi pro ilustraci (a i z pohledu mě jako čtenářky) přišel zajímavý, zkusila něco načrtnout a pak ve spolupráci s Terezou přepracovávala a všelijak ladila, dokud jsme nebyly s výsledkem obě spokojené. Některé kresby se vydařily hned na první pokus, s jinými jsem trochu zápasila. Každopádně to ale byla hodně zajímavá zkušenost...
