Yes I do listen to music while reading, as well as many other things. I'm not the biggest fan of complete silence so I usually have my iTunes up all day. My favorites to listen to are blink-182 and Sugarcult. Lately though I've been listening to the new albums by My Chemical Romance, Good Charlotte, and Mumford & Sons because their new stuff is awesome.
