Sure...It depends on what she's looking for but I've got a few churches I'd recommend depending on what she was used to/looking for.

Do right. Live justly. Love mercy. The rest of it I'm trying to figure out as I go. I wish I had a better answer for that. Something tells me this could be my wife asking me this question since she's ready for me to get closer to figuring it out.

Here's what I know. I'm most alive when I connect with people and see them drawn closer to Jesus. I love to write music, laugh and walk with people through difficult times. That concoction has to add up to something but right now I couldn't tell you 100% what that is.

I'm pretty sure it was getting $1 from guys in my the warehouse at my Dad's job (next door to the house) to do their work and load the UPS truck. I was about 10. That dollar was all I needed then.

This one isn't really fair because that list is just too long. I'll say this. Mr. J. (my HS band teacher taught me a TON about life and music. He pushed me in ways I didn't know I could be pushed and his influence sticks with me today. Best line he gave me "If you're going to mess up, do it BIG." You can bet I've used that on more than one occasion.

December 20th was the last time I played it in front of an audience, but I played my tenor two weeks ago for someone interested in purchasing it. I don't play it nearly enough.

Private Practice so my wife will stop watching it every Thursday. I hate that show. Sappy...over the top emotional ploys. Just annoying.

I loved the Cosby show as a child. We went for a year and a half without a TV and after that the Cosby Show & A Different World were the two shows we would watch weekly. It was a great hour of my week as a child and helped me learn how to laugh.

I think I'll have to break this down into eras. Just to be fair:

Male: Nat King Cole (way old school), Stevie Wonder (old school), Fred Hammond

Female: Sarah Vaughan (way old school), Whitney Houston (somewhat old school), Brooke Fraser
