I work with the 24, 35, 45ts, 50 and 135. So take your pick. Kinda depends on what current zoom lenses you currently have as to what lens you need right away.

Yes I believe that one of you has to be in the NAVY to have your wedding there.

The bridge I think you are referring to is in Sydney. I can't remember the exact location but I believe it's in Sylvania Waters.

Best time to shoot with no people would be after dark. It gets really busy there around sunset so it's hard not to have people in your photos, but you have a better chance after dark.
I have actually done photos there after midnight and there were still people on the steps, so you just need a bit of luck as well. -
There's a waterfall called Sommerby Falls, it's about an hour north of Sydney. Great spot, easy to get to. But very busy on weekends.
Nah I don't bother getting council approval. -
Busy busy. 365 self-portrait project.

I got the idea from Flickr, so it wasn't my idea. I thought it would be a good for me to push myself to experiment with photography ideas etc

Thanks Katie. Congrats! Reception venues are a very personal thing and it really depends on what you are after.
Villa Rosa do weddings well and they put on a good show and I think they really look after the couple. They have fireworks, smoke machines etc. So it really depends on your taste.
Food was good. -
Hi Lea, yeah it happened today... Facebook has disabled the account, with no email and no message. I just can't login. Very frustrating! I've sent them a message asking why?

It's such a versatile lens. I love the bokeh it creates and it just gives a look to images that I just love. And it's a look that people just can't create with their point and shoot cameras.

I don't normally use anything. If there is a little bit of drizzle the camera is normally fine. I do have a rain cover for it if it is pouring: http://www.thinktankphoto.com/categories/camera-rain-covers.aspx
