aside from the fact that you got sick a lot... what was your adolescence like? it sounds miserable from your description, but were there good parts?
Actually if you grow up being sick all the time you get used to it to the point that it just feels like that's how life is. Like breathing. You don't take notice of it. As for my childhood...
...I grew up in a big family, in a nice quiet town. We didnt have much money, but it never mattered that much to us kids. I watched a lot of cartoons, read a lot of comics, and drew as much as I could. Had good friends, lots of woods to explore nearby, a bicycle.
Doesn't sound that bad. -

I am stoked to the MAX about chapter 4. Also about the one-day-in-the-future-possibly-April compilation of chapters 1-3. I will give my money to you for that. Annnnd, that's about it.
;u; I'm glad that you're excited! I'm excited to show it to you. As for the book, it will definitely be ready in time for Wondercon! eeeee

I'm really enjoying seeing the change from sketch comic to real comic! I honestly never even realized that I hate thought bubbles - but you managed to alter it so you don't even need them in the final version and it works so much better. Do you like banan
Thanks! I shifted from thinking thought bubbles could be used to explain internal feelings the way that you do in books to thinking of them as crutches for people who don't understand how to convey information through visuals and dialogue. At least, where my comics is concerned. If you're not doing a deep psychological character manifesto, you probably don't need thought bubbles (unless you are lazy).
And no, I'm not a fan of banan. -
hey dere?
I am going to find you. I'm going to start at my end of the Internet, at my IP address. I'm going to break myself down past particles and into waves. First, my wireless router, then the tower. Then, your wireless router. Maybe it's not yours. Maybe it's your mom's, whatever. It doesn't matter. I'm going to reconstitute. Don't ask how, it's a trade secret, okay? It's a fucking secret.
Then I am going to set your place of residence on fire. I was going to say house, right? "House" sounds better than "place of residence", but I wanted to allow for the possibility that you don't live in a house. Some people don't live in houses. I don't live in a house. It's okay though, see, because I'm sure whatever you live in is still flammable. The only thing that matters is whether it burns or not.
I'd bet you a lot of money that it does. It's a good thing I don't have a lot of money, and you're not a betting man. -
My little brother is 4' tall, 10 years old and wants to be Legschilla for Halloween. Any suggestions? Also, what would be a good costume for me to compliment his Legschilla look?
Are you serious right now? Please be serious, I couldn't take the heartbreak.
The easiest would be to wear a :3 mask and pull up a pair of gray pants to your chin and do it that way, but it is a bit hard on the crotch (I know this from experience, unfortunately). If you want to get fancy I guess he could probably use a big cardboard box, score the back of it to make it rounder (with supervision) and paint it gray, that would be easy. Or fabric draped on a simple base.
And obviously you would go as Legchilla's current girlfriend. -
D, do you think Morgan Freeman would be a good president?
He's been okay for the last few years, but I think he's alienated himself from his voter base with his recent concessions to Republicans on things like the economy and the environment. I think if he wants to be reelected in 2012 he's going to really hone his message to and plans for America, and try to recapture some of the magic from the 2008 campaign and the one time that giant meteor almost killed the entire human population.

Which character would be the most fun at parties? I'm thinking Ulyer, but I suppose that depends.
You don't want to go to Ulyer's parties, trust me.
For a fun happy time, invite Angora or Suda. Luca is That Guy, don't invite him. And Amen will be fun for 5 minutes until he slaps you with a noise violation.

I draw comics. I'm about to graduate and ready to have a panic attack over that.
