Don't worry about it too much because Price Management sucks and you can't put anything (well, except a bulletin board) on the walls. I had a bunch of little statues and things I bought on my CP, and I put a scarf over my window with some pushpins that was easy to take down before inspections. I actually had a dry erase calendar AND a bulletin board on the walls (!!!) and I never got in trouble for it... but we also never got White Glove...

I say go for it, especially being 4'11". The worst that can happen is that they say no. I have like zero dance experience and I managed to pass an audition! (Granted I ended up in the pool but whatever.)

I wish I had updated my blog while I was working there, because Safaris is awesome! It seems really overwhelming at first, but you can do it. Most of the trainers are awesome and you don't have to take guests out until you're ready... but you'll be ready before you know it, honestly. Umm I don't have any specific advice really... do you have any specific questions though? I can answer them probably! (:

I've been to CP auditions, which are a little bit different. The straight-up face auditions you just line up in a room and they stare at your face... that's the whole first step. From there, they call the numbers they want to stay, and then those people go through more cuts... dancing, makeup, all that stuff. So don't worry too much about the first step!

Probably Free People, but my closet has quite a bit of Forever 21 in it!

Soooo basically, how much is LEFT depends on how many hours you work. Working at Safaris you make $8.01, so let's say you work 35 hours and live in a Chatham 2 bedroom (like me). They'll take out that $95 of rent + taxes, leaving you with somewhere in the neighborhood of $150 (give or take). Does that help?
-
It depends on which apartment complex you live in and how many rooms it has... the most expensive apartments are Patterson 1 and 2 bedrooms, which currently cost $96/week. Chatham is only a dollar less, though. When I lived in Vista in the Fall in a 3 bedroom (the cheapest) it was $79/week. They've raised rent every program, though.
-
Not necessarily, but I think that some roles "fill up" more quickly than others. I'm not a CP recruiter or anything though so I really don't know for sure.
-
Yep! But you can't be on a program for more than a full year. So you can't, say, do Fall Advantage 2010, extend into Spring, and then immediately do Fall 2011 or a PI or something. But you ~could come back for Spring 2012, if you wanted to.
-
There's not really a surefire way (it depends on availability), but your best shot is to ask when checking in. I had five girls I wanted to live with, and by my arrival date the only 3-bedrooms left were in Vista.
-
You're probably all done training now, whoever you are, but I had the most haphazard training and didn't do any shadowing... so even if I had answered on time I wouldn't have been any help. :/ Did everything turn out okay?
-
Just make sure that you pick the same arrival date once you're accepted, then use the roommate matching/notification and enter each other's numbers! :)

Maybe when I was 12... I mean I know I look young but not that young I hope.

Nope! There are a lot of people on the program who have never been to WDW. The initial web interview is pretty simple. I have an advice post about it here: http://abbydoesdisney.blogspot.com/2009/09/info-post-2-so-you-want-to-do-disney.html
