Only a few. I promise to start updating soon. I have been having some trouble adjusting, but I'd rather have regular updates. When I start, it'll be Rose Deli Monday and Friday and Green Avenger Wednesday.

I really wish I could write music, but I can't. I have a decent enough voice to sing, but someone else would have to mostly write the music, so I guess that's out. I wouldn't mind writing for TV, I guess. Especially animation. I understand the pacing a bit better there and can articulate scenes through art too.

I've always wanted to make music, actually. I've never been able to concentrate long enough to really learn an instrument, but when I played violin in middle school I was always pretty good even without practicing (at all. Really.) I passed the class, at least. The teacher was always very disappointed I never met my potential.
Anyway, more than an instrument, I'd like to sing. But I never get the chance to outside karaoke, because I've never learned how to compose music or write lyrics. -
Wow, the thought had honestly never occurred to me. I never feel good about what I'm doing unless it's something tangible and relatively original. Ever since I was a baby I've been doodling and I've been writing almost as long. I guess if I hadn't been a comic artist, I'd have been a writer. I've always considered myself a better writer than an artist, but ultimately I excel at neither. If I had, maybe I wouldn't have chosen to be a comic artist. :V

I never got the chance to make this joke and probably never will, but The Green Avenger just chose that name because it sounds cool. And yes, I would like a pretzel, but only as long as it's a soft pretzel.

I am! Mostly local. I'll be at SpringCon in Saint Paul in a couple weeks, MIX at the end of August, Fallcon in October, and I'm planning on going to NEWW this year. I'll be exhibiting at all but NEWW. I plan on getting my act together and getting some minis or something for MIX, at least.
Edit to add: I'll also be at Anime North, but that's a time for having fun with friends and not doing comics stuff. Also, I always go to the big MN sci-fi fantasy con, CONvergence. I'll be on a couple panels there, including the webcomics panel. They might be doing artist alley stuff again so I'll probably have a shift at artist alley too. Should put this up on my site!! -
I first got into comics with newspaper comics when I was a little little kid. I presume they were just easy to read. When I got for serious really into comics and making them it was all because of manga. Manga showed me that there was a space in comics for the kinds of stories I wanted to tell.
