being at the lake. folk fest. barbecue/picnic family gatherings on the beach. not doing schoolwork. adventuring with my sister. just enjoying my last summer as a high school student.
-
nope, i don't. i probably should, though.
-
i live as far from ocean as you possibly can - in every direction. take me to any coast, and i'll be happy. west coast canada is breathtaking, though.
-
books are my favourite genre.
-
i've never really stayed at a vacation retreat. but roadtripping, that's good stuff.
-
fruit. i can't pick just one.
and who am i kidding?
chocolate. -
trees. i was a monkey child. okay, i still am.

hmm. two that have been on repeat lately are 'greetings from michigan' by sufjan stevens (this man has the most beautiful voice i've ever heard in my life) and 'every kingdom' by ben howard.

country, hands down.

my aperture is almost always at 1.8 or a tiny bit higher, and everything else really depends on the light/time of day. i usually just play around until i like what i see. :)
-
the little 'rainbow' is a sun flare. basically, i just play around with placement and backlighting. this usually works best during golden hour. i use a 50mm 1.8 (canon) lens, but you can get sun flares with pretty much any lens. just experiment!

-seriously.
-so stoked.
-gaaaaaah. (if i'm excited, angry, swooning, or frustrated. it's an all-moods kinda thing)
-happy birthday. (all the time. it's just what i do)
-random french words/phrases/sentences mixed in with my english.
-the end. (in attempt to make a pointless story seem more interesting) -
a lot of the things i post are from photographers/artists that i keep up with regularly, so it's easy to site the original source in that situation. but finding something i like on a tumblr? that's a whole different story. i basically just follow the links (which can be a hassle sometimes) until i reach the original source. it's like treasure hunting. ;) if i can't find the original source by the time i reach the end link, i don't post the photo. simple as that.

I guess I'm just naturally thinner. I've always eaten really healthy (for the most part. i do love my chocolate), and I try to exercise in some way every day. I do not aim for 'skinny', just healthy. :)
-
ha! hannah. i love you. a lot. the end.
-
I don't think anon was being mean, I think they were just confused, which is totally fine. I guess I'm just an odd mixture of a young free spirit and an old soul who's terrible at being a teenager. ;)
