I'm TOTALLY in love with someone incredible who shall (for now) remain nameless. He definitely isn't you. People like you are why Formspring is bollocks.
-
Uhhhh I'm not getting into this with you - if you don't want to be gay, and you think you have a choice, don't be. Killing yourself isn't the answer to anything.
-
Now I also appreciate, having seen your subsequent and angry questions to Zach that you're confused about your own issues, and I can understand why based on what I've read. BUT what I can't understand is IF you're a Christian, and Christ preaches that you should love all humans as you do yourself, why are you giving loads of hate out? Get therapy if it'll help - just don't go hating on people because it makes you feel better.

AMAZING. Always wanted one of you religious types to play with.
First, hi anonymous person. I like your anonymity.
Second - it's bible history time, kids.
The bible was passed down as spoken stories for hundreds and hundreds of years. The Old Testament contains stories that stem from myths from the very beginning of humanity. The Old Testament especially has been EDITED, many times in history, first by the Roman emperor Constantine who MURDERED almost every single early Christian bishop (these were the Coptic and Gnostic christians, who were the ACTUAL followers of Christ and all believed in reincarnation) on his crusade to get the faith adopted by Rome. Then, the Nicean council met and chopped HUGE chunks of the bible out in the 1st century AD, then did so again a few years later.
Firstly, they chopped out all the books that they didn't like (Search the net- look for the book of Enoch, the Book of Giants, the Book of the Wars of Yahweh). I'm not going to go into great detail about what all those books contain but I can give you the most important edit that was made: EVERY reference to "God" in the Old Testament is in fact "Elohim" in the original Hebrew text - this means "The Shining ONES" - ie GodS, multiple, just like every other religion. Then the bible got translated into Greek to be made available to a wider audience. It lost a lot of its original meaning when this happened.
THEN King James of England decided to translate the Bible into English. He, too, made his own edits.
That is the Bible that you American fundamentalist Christians use today.
So, primarily, the Christian faith isn't based on the Old Testament, but on the New one that deals with the life of Christ. The New Testament wasn't written until over 50 years after the death of Christ.
Bearing in mind that you came to my attention because you were hating on one of my Twitter friends for being "a faggit" I need to point out a few things:
1/ Christ preaches only a message of love, at no point ANYWHERE in the Bible does he say that being gay is wrong. "Love thy neighbour" he says. Or do you think he meant to say "Love thy neighbour, unless he's gay"? I don't think so somehow. If you believe that he's the son of God I find it hard to understand that he can forgive murderers and sinners, but he can't forgive someone for expressing love for another human being. It doesn't make any sense.
2/ The only references to homosexuality in the bible are:
A - in the story of Sodom and Gomorrah (Old Testament, so automatically is open to serious confusion (are they real cities? Why did Lot's wife turn into a pillar of salt? etc etc) in which they people are described as fornicators - not gays, but amoral sinners who wanted to rape people.
B - St. Paul's letters to the Corinthians. St. Paul who also said that it was forbidden for women to teach. You think we should be trusting that guys opinion?
3/ It's spelt FaggOt not Faggit.
Basically what I'm saying, anonymous religious hater, is that your opinion to Zach that "God" wrote the Bible is totally incorrect, and that if you base an entire belief system on something that is one of the LEAST factually correct books in history then you should expect someone like me to come along and take the time to help you sort the facts from the religious dogmatism.
Hell yes. The whole of time and space to adventure through? I'd go back in time and tell myself to never get a Formspring.
-
Chris Keating. Or is this another one of those "who would you do questions?"
-
If I was Doctor Who, my assistant would be you. Does that make you feel good?
-
The two are very different. Personally I say unless the charity single in question is amazing, just give the charity the money you'd have spent on the song directly. Perhaps using a justgiving page, or maybe their Facebook group.
-
Somewhere between the two, obviously. Aren't we all?
-
I would 'do' either of them if they asked nicely enough. Assuming of course that 'do' is missing the words "A nice jigsaw puzzle with them" at the end.
-
Just you. They were all coming the other way!
-
Hmmm I WONDER who asked me this! You're both awesome & I refuse to pick a favourite, because that would be impossible.
-
Ha - LOVE this question! Did I get all the work done that I had to? Yes, yes I did, therefore your argument is invalid. And since I can count on one hand the people that could have asked this question, have some faith, cynic. My work is awesome. As you will see when you read our mystery shopper reports!

6 meat. But I tip my hat to you vegans, that 10 veg experiement was VERY lovely, and I'll probably make it again. Next!
-
Haha - nice. What shags like a tiger and winks?
