he's a douchebag.. ive actually partied with him and know people whom know him. drugs will make you do crazy things. i think he deserves to goto jail for what he's done, can't wait to hear the outcome because he is addicted to heroin and needs to serve his time.

We post about you guys on Decoymusic.com, don't run much of a PR company or anything but there are some smaller ones out there which are good.. just not enough time for myself to be able to even take on managing any bands right now with a new baby that just came on the way as well as trying to find some work.

has to be hates to lose.. winning is cool, but nothing feels worse than losing, i play in like 6 fantasy football leagues and the big dollar leagues everytime i lose gives me anxiety, wins are wins, i don't gloat or brag just take em but losing.. man it gets to me on a whole other level.

Definitely 2004-2005, I somehow made a bunch of money in 2003 and in 2004 I toured on Warped Tour with Underminded followed that up by a west coast tour with the vandals, before going to canada in early 2005 then to europe with underminded and the vandals. amazing times with some of my best friends.

I think i answered this down my questions a ways. just find a band you believe in and offer to do everything for them, help them book shows, sell merch, setup, tear down, drive to shows, and just network. its not something you can just do but people i know have sold merch, been personable people, and worked there way to tour managing from there.

just be on the lookout for labels and people looking for interns, if will help get you contacts inside the industry and will help you build from there.

im in the middle of reading the Bible, but its been awhile since i read an entire book. maybe the how to start a small business book if that counts. or Who Moved My Cheese.

not really sure the premise behind this question but i would ask for money for every single person on this earth then every countries economy would be rockin and there wouldn't be hunger, homeless, disease issues across the globe.

thats freaking awesome, glad to have you on board and posting now. seems like a lot of fresh new people seemed to have joined the forums now which is awesome, makes doing what we do all the more worth it. also to know there's people out there whom don't post but are still dedicated readers is amazing in itself.

depends what company you are talking about. decoy yes, citadel no.

Just wait and watch for labels to promote they're looking for interns. That would obviously be the best way to prove yourself and then get picked up hopefully by that label or have learned some stuff and could just apply at any label. obviously it also helps to live in Los Angeles or New York.

you tell me, seems like you know more about it that I do ? I used to mess around with that stuff back when I was 16, warez/music/etc but haven't even cared about any of that in a long time. probably because everything is so readily available now days on torrents and stuff.

Just the clip that they put online a couple days ago, I'm sure we will get the album a bit early since they're on Razor & Tie now and I can bet it's going to be pretty freaking good just basing this opinion off the clip that was up.

When I was growing up Thrice was hands down my favorite band, The Illusion of Safety I feel changed my life. Good Riddance and Strung Out are up there as well as life changing. GR is why I started Decoymusic.com and Strung Out I've seen and interviewed too many times to count. but i've seen Good Riddance probably at least 10 times before they broke up. One of the most real and true bands out there. Bummed I didn't goto any of their farewell tour. As far as Thrice we drove from up where I'm at 3hrs to Hollywood to see Thrice open for Anti-Flag one time and as soon as they finished played we got in the car and drove back.. was one of the most memorable shows I've been to. Some others was definitely The Mars Volta in Houston, TX when Underminded had an off-day of the tour we were on. They knew the drum tech so we got to go backstage and meet the band and hangout, it was pretty darn memorable. Some other rad shows like that was when we went to Taste of Chaos in Canada on an off-day and got to chill backstage also, it was the year with Killswitch Engage, the Used, and Underoath and we got to watch from the stage. Then the time Underminded played house of blues Cleveland with Pennywise and Sick of it All was rad as well. I think the most beneficial tour/shows we did was after we did Canada/Europe and jumped on some dates with Throwdown, It Dies Today, The Chariot on the way home.. ended up making some rad connections and helped score The Chariot tour with Evergreen Terrace who became some of the best friends anyone could ask for, those guys are all absolutely amazing.

when I was younger it was definitely Tombstone, I think when I watched it again it wasn't nearly as good as I first thought. If i had to straight up with one favorite I think it would have to be Seven. Others are The Dark Knight and I really enjoyed Law Abiding Citizen.

It's always tough to break out in San Diego. I've found it a lot easier to develop a following in Orange County. I know Underminded always seemed to draw better at Chain Reaction and always considered that their second home and would always want to do a cd release up there almost more-so than San Diego. I think San Diego gets too much credit as being thriving because there's a lot of music snobs. Not like it's a bad thing but people wanna support the indie bands and not so much what everyone is into almost.
Not sure what to suggest you do but maybe look at getting some shows out of the area since SD is so hit or miss when it comes to drawing. -
Find someone you truly believe in and figure out what kinds of tasks you feel as if you could be of benefit to them doing. I would suggest knowing some people, maybe helping them with some financing such as getting them started with printing some tshirts.. just figure out what kind of advantage you could be to them.
The reason I say find someone you believe in, is because you want to be able to put your heart into it. So many managers just pick up bands whom they want to make a quick buck through, which there is nothing wrong with, but I found it easier to start and get into management locating some amazing local bands and starting to built contacts with other bands, other managers, promoters, venues, cities, etc. It's all about who you know in this management business so it would be good to be personable and get yourself out to the right people to begin with.
