Uh nope they don't. Bren can stay over at my place though(?) If my parents did allow me to stay over at Bren's, they won't see me at home anymore LOL.
This is a morally wrong suggestion, but I'd suggest that you lie to your parents & say you're staying at some chalet etc. if they really really REALLY don't allow & you really want to stay over (birthday, anniversary or what)
I know how parents can be, & mine's really strict so I know how hard it must be. Try to stay later at his place for like 3x a week & then stretch it to staying over? Worth giving it a try.
Oh, & if you're gonna follow my advice about lying, don't get caught please. -
Haha, I try! I'm no expert & sometimes I dislike answering rs questions for fear I give the wrong advice. What if the advice I have been giving stopped someone from being with the person they ought to spent the rest of their life with?
Still, I hope what I said helps you! -
Plaza Sing dear! I think most outlets have discount, storewide!

Try to get a good tutor and practice many exam papers rather than doing sums from the textbook. I've had F9 all the way for both A Maths and E Maths til I got a really good tutor who gave me tons of exam papers to do, tough ones in fact, and chiong for the last 2 months which paid off - got a B3 for both. I can't help you with the Sciences, I'm VERY bad at them. Humanities, just know the format and if your teacher drops any hints, please pick them up.
I rmbed that my Humans. teacher gave us the exact question that came out for O levels. THE EXACT QUESTION YOU KNOW? Seriously my heart almost died. But yeah, ask advice from your teachers if you can. That's about all I can advice you, good luck & all the best <3 -
In the first place, how can you know and like a person even before being her friend? I don't believe in those love at first sight nonsense. My theory is that, you'd have feelings for someone who is your friend, not a stranger. And it is someone whom you have been communicating with over a period of time, that you have a good gauge of her character, which is the reason why you have feelings for her.
It's not that you deliberately befriend someone because you like her. You don't even know her, and you're not even friends, then what do you like about her?
The purpose of ANY friendship is to be friends. It can lead to something more, definitely. You don't have to intentionally keep talking to her and getting close to her just because you like her. What are your motives??? If your motive is to get closer to her to make her like you then STOP because it's freaky. Just treat her like how you usually do and don't be fake. If she likes you, there'll be a tell tale sign. I just hope you don't get friendzoned.
And my advice is not 100% to be followed. I'm no relationship expert, it's just my opinion. I think you should consult someone who has more relationship experience than I do. -
Haha I think I'm super dumb eh, see my Sciences? Cannot make it. I got into NP's Mass Comm but my Mum bribed me & said if I went to NYP, she'll get me a car. A good deal right? Thing is, I haven't even gotten my license yet wtf. -.-" My Chinese got a B3 I think it's cause my Oral helped, I got a distinction for that which came as a HUGE surprise to me and even my teacher who told me a day before the oral that I would fail. PROVED HIM WRONG, THAT IDIOT.
I think it's good to focus on subjects you're good at & then ditch the rest. For e.g. if you're good at Physics but suck at Chemistry, just put all your effort into Physics and screw Chemistry. 'Cause they'd only need to take the top 5 subjects, so just choose 5 subjects you can most definitely score in. That's my tip for you. ^^
Oh, & BULLSHIT as much as you can in oral. The more you say, and as long as it makes sense, you can easily get a distinction. -
Okay, this is to my recollection which must be quite accurate cause I've posted this numerous times for resumes and tutoring websites.
English A2
E-lit A2
Combined Humanities A2
A Maths B3
E Maths B3
Chinese B3
Chemistry C6
Physics D7
I don't think I'm missing out anything? My sciences killed me and roasted me alive. I love English Literature too. -
Er it should be from friends to couple. You can't be with someone unless you know that person! Okay my scenario was different, but on usual cases, you'll usually fall in love with a friend and not a stranger!

JUST GIVE UP. If the girl wanted to be with you, she'd just say yes. It's stupid if she wants to be together with you and says no, and if that's the case, perhaps she just likes the feeling of being liked and is toying with your feelings. You sure you want to be with a girl like that?
When a girl says no, don't need to think so much. Take NO as the final answer and just remain friends with her and don't try to "woo" her or whatever anymore. Spend your time & energy on something more productive! -
Definitely how he treats the girl and what he's willing to do for her. So what if a guy is handsome and wealthy but is abusive and a male chauvinist?
-
Haha still not 100% recovered but I can walk! (:
-
Haha no, the rumor is definitely not true. It's a stupid nonsensical made-up stereotypical view of IJ girls. It's not that we are more horny or more desperate for guys just because we were in an all girls' school. We are NOT nuns being released into a club. NO.
It depends on the individual's character, not on the school. Hope this clarifies things. (: -
TP had the hottest people in my opinion! NYP is like, either they look too Chinese, or they speak in Chinese. Picture me, fresh out of Secondary school, 10 years being in a girls school & stepping into Poly was the VERY FIRST TIME anyone has made fun of me speaking in Chinese. RUDE OR WHAT.
Plus NYP is very competitive. They are really willing to backstab anyone in their way for their grades. I really don't like that. Anywhere but NYP, seriously. -
Ehhh, I was from NYP. The campus is really small compared to the rest of the other Polys but it's alright I guess. Some lecturers in my field were kinda biased but I think that happens everywhere.
Most importantly, the people in the school are kind of like ah bengs and ah lians? I think cause of the area it's in. Most of them but not all. Just stick to the English educated ones & you'll be fine?
In my opinion, I'd have very much preferred to have been in another Poly. Didn't enjoy my Poly life at all. Not one bit. -
Definitely Batman. He's rich, he can fly, he's handsome, he's rich...

Hihi! Yeah, well I spent 2 weeks there so I'm not sure if I can advice you 'cause I'm not sure of the duration of your trip.
Mostly, we travelled by bus (refer to my blog for the bus card) & basically, the bus takes you to most places where you'd probably go. E.g. Circular Quay is where the Sydney Opera House is, Darling Harbour is where the Aquariums & most tourist attractions are.
The factory outlet called DFO in Sydney is located at Stratsfield(?) & you can get there by train. The other main shopping place is Westfield which is kinda like Robinsons in SG. Still considerably pricey if you ask me.
You must try the kebabs in Sydney and the Korean restaurants! Absolutely delicious!
In Gold Coast, try to pick an apartment which is near a bus stop. The apartment which I stayed in which is The Moorings on Cavill was really convenient! 10 minutes walk to the beach, and about half an hour to the various attractions. Also, there's a night market near the beach which opens only during good weather every Wednesday and Friday, try to look for the booth with the beef jerky!
Overall, for the trip, I spent $2.5k SGD for the expenditure there & about $1.5k SGD for the flights to Sydney and back (SQ), flight to GC & back (Jetstar) & the accomodation at The Moorings. I didn't pay for lodging in Sydney cause I stayed in my friend's apartment!
Feel free to ask me anything I missed out (: -
"Beeyotch." "Fucking chink." "Go back to your country." "Fuck you." Stuff like that?
