      Kat from Gravity Rush acting all annoyed when every guy she meets wouldn't pay attention to her. In the context of the game it made her seem like an easy kind of gal. Like just flatter her and she'll suck your h0mu, dude (that's what happens in the picture). But I didn't see it as a good thing or a bad thing; it just surprised me because the Japanese never create female protagonists like that.

      Would it be misogynistic if I said that it made her feel more Western? Shit, I hope not (I actually like this character a lot).

      Today I read the final issue of the Nintendo Power magazine. Do you have any memories of Nintendo Power you'd like to share, if any? [7]

      I had a ton of nintendo powers as a kid. I remember liking the Zelda and Metroid comics a lot.

      A few times I took pictures of my high scores and sent them into the magazine too. I don't remember if it was printed or anything though. Actually I can't remember what game I did it for... but I remember turning off the lights and taking the picture of the TV myself though.

      Gaming magazines seem to be going the way of the dodo.

      People just shitpost on Twitter all day though. I really want to try to avoid that. They tweet like "OH MAN WORK SUCKED TODAY" or "HEY CHECK OUT WHAT I'M EATING" or "DUDE MY POOP JUST LITERALLY EXPLODED OUT OF MY ASS RIGHT NOW". That last thing would get like tons of retweets too.

      I don't know. I'm not sure if I'm interesting enough for it.

      Are you out of the service now, and if so, what are you up to now? Sorry if this is invasive.

      It's not at all. I'm still in as a reservist; my unit next deployment is in 2013.

      On the civilian side I'm still working. But I'm thinking of going back to school and finishing up a nursing degree that I once started oh say, 10 years ago. Thankfully at least it's pretty easy to get into the program thanks to my previous degree + military service.
