Hi there and happy early New Year to you!

Define is a perfect start for lines around the mouth -- and you can extend use of Define past the outer lip line and toward the nasolabial folds (smile lines) and downward toward the chin from the corners of the mouth.

For the neck area, there are a couple of products you might consider individually or paired. Prep is a great product for smoothing skin and will also help improve overall tone. Following use of Prep, you might enjoy finishing with Antioxidants Concentrate for the neck area and it can serve as a lightweight finishing lotion.

We also have a new product rolling out this weekend you might love for the neck and chest area -- Private Reserve Antioxidant Oil. We'll have two versions available. I'm including a link here to our page about the new Private Reserves.

Thank you for writing to us and enjoy 2012!
      All my best,
      Darrell

Great question and YES -- Indeed!
This is actually a preferred way to store products like ours because not only is freshness increased but you'll enjoy how our products feel when they're cool and just out of the fridge.

      All my best,
      Darrell

HI there and thanks for asking!

There is nothing in Correct that would have adverse effects on someone your age. There's a common myth that young folks, like yourself, shouldn't use anti-aging products.

The ingredients we use are designed to help protect the skin and slow the process that degrade and age skin over time. Starting use of great skin care products while you're young is the perfect way to improve the look of your skin today and keep it looking great in the future. The difference between Correct and other eye creams in our line and other eye creams by other brands, is that Correct uses LOTS of great actives together to help your skin look its best.

Please let me know if you have any other questions! Yours is a great one and I'm glad you asked!

      All my best,
      Darrell Owens

      Hi there,
We currently do not post expiration dates on our products, partly because of the longevity or product life our containers provide, but also because we produce our products in small batches, which immediately go into refrigeration once they are produced. We also time production in-sync with when our retailers actually need more product.

As a result, for example, the eye cream or face product you purchase was often made by us days prior!

However -- we realize sometime products can sit around at home after purchase or disappear and then reappear months later. So, in general in normal temperatures, you should expect freshness of our products to remain in-tact for at least a year.

Thank you for taking the time to ask us about this!

Also to answer the portion of your question about when best to use...

If Refresh is your daily eye cream and you want to incorporate use of Correct, you might start by using Correct at night two or three nights per week. If you have a special event coming up where you want your eyes to look their best, consider increasing use of Correct to nightly about two weeks before the big day!

      Hi there -- great question!

Correct has a broader range of peptides to fight puffiness, loss of elasticity and different types of wrinkles from expression lines to wrinkles caused by damage and time. It also contains brighteners that address most causes of undereye darkness and fatigue or puffiness.

Refresh contains narrower range of peptides and brighteners -- focusing on prevention and correction of wrinkles caused by damage and time. Botanicals in Refresh are more focused on dealing with irritation and inflammation. There is also a broader range of antioxidants to help prevent early signs of aged-looking skin.

I hope this info is helpful and we appreciate the question!

      Hi there,
Thank you for writing to us and we hope that in the end you find Restore a joy to use.

Each person is different, but reducing dark spots does take time. Most sun (or age) spots form deep in the skin. Restore helps to reduce the formation of the spots, evening out skin tone over time. Existing spots will naturally fade as skin cells turn over and the spots move toward the surface of the skin.

So, it is entirely normal to not see spots just fade away as Restore does not bleach the skin.

If you have an exfoliating product you enjoy, you can speed results by exfoliating regularly at night. This will help turn over cells faster and increase Restore's effectiveness.

Thank you again and we appreciate your question!

Yes combining the two has great potential for your skin! You will most likely see improved results between the two.

Light therapy aims to stimulate skin's natural healing and regenerative processes. Correct contains antioxidants, peptides and botanicals that work with your skin to improve healing, strength and collagen production.

I love combining use of our products with light therapy and highly recommend it.

      Hi,
Your question is great -- one that's very personal and important to many individuals! If you will, please indulge me a little background explanation and what has turned out to be a very lengthy response.

When we formulate our products, we always consider each ingredient's track record of safety and try to make decisions that result in safe products for everyone. Sometimes these decisions can be difficult when we see data on one hand that speaks to an ingredient's safety and on the other hand we read what appears to be mis-information that puts the ingredient's safety in question -- such mis-information often starts as a marketing tactic in a company looking to gain an advantage by disparaging an ingredient, this eventually proliferates across the internet and by word-of-mouth and makes the decisions we as consumers make when shopping for safe products, difficult.

So -- to focus now on your question -- we believe we are making safe products but recognize each person is different. Even though we believe the ingredients we're using are safe, we know some ingredients' safety (such as preservatives, for example) will always be passionately debated. As a result, the best advice we can give you is to consult with your doctor or research the ingredients we use so that you can make the best decision for you.

In the end it comes down to our respect for you as an individual. We don't think it's fair to you or to our own brand when other companies who don't personally know you, claim their products are safe or safer than their competing brands. We believe the best way to decide if our products are safe for you, is for you arm yourself with information, trust your own findings and beliefs and consult with an expert such as your doctor, who knows you and your specific needs.

When faced with questions like yours, some companies like to give a simple yes or no response; and they're just doing what works for them. I hope it comes across here, that we care deeply about you and our customers. We respect your personal decision to use or not to use our products based on your findings.

      Thank you!
      Darrell Owens

      Hi there,
We're very sorry to hear about your experience, but we are not the company you may have thought we were when you submitted your question. We are Your Best Face Skincare (founded in 2004) and only make skincare products.

There is a company called called Your Best Friend Stacey which was originally the company Models Prefer. In 2007 Models Prefer changed their name to Your Best Friend Stacey. Please consider contacting QVC and they may be able to help you.

      All our best,
      Darrell and Kimberley

Correct is designed for the entire eye area, including unereye, corners, lids and even the furrow of the brow.

Part of what Correct does is help to improve the tone of skin that is perhaps sagging some. You'll notice with regular use that the effects with Correct are cumulative. So, over time you should see improvement to the lids as well.

We always like to point out though that our products are not about quick fixes. Some other brand's products actually tighten when dry to deliver a simulated toning effect. Correct works to improve the condition of skin and naturally improve tone over time.

Thank you again for your interest and hopefully this info is helpful.

      Happy holidays!

      Hi there,
No, we do not test on animals...we never have.

We include a statement on our web site and all of our products that also states we do not test on animals.

Thank you for asking and your interest in our brand!

Although always happy to share our knowledge and experience, we also suggest that you seek advice from a dermatologist or other medical expert. In the meantime, you may want to avoid products containing vitamin A or retinols. We can't be sure in your personal case, but it does sound like classic symptoms of a reaction to vitamin A.
In general, for 60 year old skin, we recommend products that contain peptides and antioxidants. (For example, in our YBF line, you may be interested in Control for your face and Correct or Refresh for your eye area.)

Darrell: I generally just avoid the sun, because like many people have found, sunscreens seem to be a culprit for breakouts. When I do use sunscreen, I always use something with UVA and UVB protection -- UVA being particularly important. One of the best UVA sunscreens I've used contains Mexoryl, which was originally available in the US under the Lancome name. Now I think you can find many types of sunscreen containing Mexoryl.
Kimberley: I've definitely become more aware of the sun and using sunscreen over the years. Like many people, I know what it's like to wait for test results when a mole is removed. It was quite an emotional experience for me. Thankfully all results were negative, and I'll never forget how I felt. So, I haven't spent a great amount of time in the sun. When I do, I use a good sunscreen with a minimum of spf 30. Also, I use helpful sun-friendly products on my face and my foundation has spf in it which helps protect my face everyday.

Hi and thank you for your questions!

With cooler weather looming, you might find that Boost might be your best pick for daytime use if you have combination skin. Adding Restore at night will do several things - help balance and brighten the skin while you rest.

Thank you and I hope this helps. I'd love to hear more about which products you go with, so please email me any time.

      Thank you,
      Darrell
