The midterm elections surprised me. I was heartened to see that Mississippi voted down the whole "egg is a person" bill and Ohio shot down a ban on collective bargaining.

I've had the good fortune to have visited most major US cities at this point....but I think I'd like to go back to Philadelphia (I was only there for a few hours on a train layover.)

If you could only eat at one fast food restaurant the rest of your life, which one would you choose?
Formspring question of the day
Tricky because these days I'd rather not eat at a fast food restaurant. Ever. But if I had to choose I'd say most definitely Sonic...I'd only order the Cherry Limeades but I'd rather have that than anything else at anyother fast food restaurant.

I'd want to think about it more but off the cuff I'd say "Lone Star, Bright City"

Perfect blend of location and friends. I went to St. Lucia a few years ago with some friends. We were a unique assortment of friends who just totally clicked that vacation. Gorgeous nights looking at the stars and chatting about random things. Daytime excursions where everyone's rhythm just match each other's. Amazing scenery. Scuba Diving.
So I'd say my perfect vacation must include these things:
Camraderie
A dose of solitude
Close to Nature
Starlit skies
Discovery of new places and culture.
Weather ideal to the locale. -

Formspring question of the day
asked by FormspringSpanish first and foremost. When I was a little girl my grandmother and aunts used to speak Spanish when they didn't want me to understand what they were saying. I dreamed of covertly learning Spanish and not telling anyone so I could listen in. I've had two years in HS and two years in college but still just a rudimentary understanding. I think I need to immerse myself.

Musicals, while more expensive to produce, generally have a better rate of return. That said, I produce plays and musicals that compel me. I am not currently looking for new projects at this time.
Since you are a TRU Member , I suggest that you submit your play for the TRU Play reading series in the summer. If selected, this is one of the easiest most cost effective ways to get your play in front of people who might shepherd it in NYC.
Good Luck! -
I think it would have to be Orion because it reminds me of my nephew of the same name. Last Christmas, my nephew gave me a ridiculously expensive tube of chap stick called "Sugar". Lipstick should never cost this much but it's also the best stuff I've ever tried for dry lips. Every now and then I'll use it and post on FB "Orion just gave me some Sugar." It's not quite the same as real live kisses but it's close.
