Where do students live: dormitories, community rentals, greek societies?

  • Skidmore College Admissions

    Hello!

Skidmore College is a close-knit residential community where majority (more than 90%) of our students choose to live on-campus.

All freshman and sophomore students are required to live on-campus in one of our residence halls. Residence Halls at Skidmore are divided into two quads--North and South--and living arrangements are suite-style. Here's a link for more information on each of the residence halls: http://bit.ly/nAggS8.

Upper classmen have the choice of living on-campus in our one of two apartment villages, Northwoods or Scribner. Or they can choose to live off-campus in downtown Saratoga Springs, NY.

Skidmore does not have a Greek system. The combination of more than 100 student clubs and organizations, our close proximity to vibrant downtown Saratoga Springs, and the plethora of campus-wide activities ranging from dance performances, concerts, lectures and more, make for an exciting social life.

Hope that helps, please let me know if you have any other questions!
