Your right , and for me it is about balance. Sometimes i need to step outside of the situations and center myself . to regroup I also rethink my thought process alot and try to drink lots of water, to keep my mind clear ! My company is a team effort , we try our best to find insteresting classic materials and inspiration! We're not really into trends !

Truth be told, Embroidery Ideas for me are a dime a dozen, a cliche but true.. The real work is in the execution, that's where our Artisans come in... I adore craftmanship and desire each Artisan who I work with to give their all to each and every project. Our Artisans are motivated by thier passion for Embroidery. You know, there is a feeling one gets when you think the work is good, I mean really good, We can reproduce it and others can say wow this is cool! ,You did this ? - They like it , They really like it ! Thats the feeling, and I speak for all of us at Walker Sinclair Visuals that never gets old !

My Nana Barksdale(rip), As a hobby was an embroidery artist , she did embroidery on pillow cases, sheets, table runners and such. As a child I clearly remember staring at these wonderful floral motifs tracing my hand over the shapes and looking at the colors , during my downtime . The daintiness , the color blending , fascinated me; however all this was forgotten until I started doing embroidery layouts at Kasper A.S.L., a seredipitous experience... The commemoration of my Nana's embroidery art returned, and from there I was hooked! Quite amazing , in a million years I never thought this would be my profession !

The Freedom! I went to Moore college of Art for Fashion design , but once in the job market i realised the creativity just was not there , we were controlled by numbers!

Actually Embroidery chose me . I was working at Kasper for A.S.L as an illustrator doing flat sketches and Presentation boards, when the production assistant who was responsible for the embroidery layouts decided to quit . My boss Arthur Levine thought the job should be given to the illustration department , which was me ! Once i started to do the embroidery layouts , I immediately , remembered my Nana's embroidery talents , and it all blossomed from there with guidance from my Ancestors.
