There is no question that I'd take Miami over Alaska any day! Heck, I don't even need the $1000, I'd go there with no money at all if it meant avoiding Alaska. For real...that's just disturbing to me.

Regarding fundraising, I've worked on a number of fundraising efforts that mostly revolve around business networking. It started when I saw people paying $25-35 for a networking event and I thought that money should be going to a charity instead of our pockets.
