Hm. Interesting question. You really have to weigh up the for and against for a lot of situations.

Let's start with a personal ability I would enjoy having. My first wish would be to allow myself to enter mediums and canons other than my own. It would be a separate physical entity to the intact canon, an alternative timeline wherein I directly influence the events from where and when I enter onward. I can also leave the medium at any point. Time would flow linearly in story but I leave just moments after I enter, in real world time. As an avid... enjoyer, I suppose, of fanon, it would be interesting to have the ability to directly influence and be influenced (i.e. gaining abilities of the world - perhaps granted a title in the case of Homestuck, or a certain bending in Avatar) by the story I enter. It seems like it would be a fun activity to try.

It would not be within my morals to avoid doing something for the world. So, secondly, I would wish for tolerance. Remove racial intolerance, gender intolerance, intelligence intolerance, religious intolerance (as in intolerance between religions) - such intolerances are preventing our race from harmony. But such a notion of utter peace seems impossible to achieve through a single genie wish. I likely posit that there would be some loophole the genie would exploit in this case.

To finalise this, I suppose I'd wish for time. Time to take a step back from this world of endless perpetual motion. Time to allow myself to read the ever expanding pile of books I have on my shelf. Time to just slow everything down and get things done, and then get back to being Veritas the university student studying to assist in research.

That'd be about all I would do, I suppose. Subject to change daily.

Ellie, where do I start? The girl's got talent! Fantastic artist as well as a fantastic actress, this girl is going places. Funny you should bring her up, I talked with her today, as I passed her at school. She's always a lively spark, and her love of Avatar The Last Airbender is only matched by the insane antics of her many friends. I am glad to have known Ellie, and hope to know her for many years to come.

Perry is damn awesome! If you need someone to vent to, or talk to, or have spiritual peace with, he's your go to man. I only wish I had gotten to know him better and hang out more often. Quite obviously, parties aren't my scene. Nevertheless, the times we shared meditating in Maths were some of my fondest memories.
