I haven't had it come up much but if I'm engaging someone whose English vocabulary is limited, whether because they're non-native speaker or they're simply uneducated, I try to keep my language simpler where possible.

Actually, this is something we've discussed multiple times. I'd be fine with it as long as the other person was legally responsible for the child financially instead of me (I could raise and love a child not my own, but I'm not interested in having to possibly be forced to pay child support for a child not my own should Brenda end up leaving me). This would actually be rather ideal in some ways, but unfortunately the law doesn't really allow for that sort of scenerio without Brenda and I getting divorced first. Otherwise it's an option we'd be seriously looking at.

I never bought clothes I could grow into, Mom did that. I don't remember when growing into things stopped being an issue.

There are times I do wish I could just start over again without the baggage of the past, but the problem is that I'd lose a lot of good things that way too.So I'd probably stick around even if presented with that option, though I can't honestly say that I'm 100% sure I couldn't be tempted into it if caught at the right time.

The app I use most is probably the Facebook app. I rarely get to see any of my friends, much less interact with them on a one to one basis, so much of my social life revolves around chatting with people on Facebook, which more often than not I'm doing through my app.

I mostly buy the cheap plastic hangers at Wal-Mart because I don't really care enough about hangers to spend more money than I have to on them. I do have a bit of a fondness for woodend hangers, though, so if someone were to give me hangers I'd probably be happier to get wooden ones rather than plastic, though I'd be thrilled that someone gave me hangers at all even if they were broken plastic or bent up wire.

I consider myself an atrocious dancer. Plain awful. Not that I let that stop me if the mood to dance hits me.

Kids are impressionable for sure, but the truth of the matter is that they're going to be exposed to sex and violence in some manner or another no matter what we do. So what we have to do is use that impressionability to our advantage by keeping an eye on what they're being expose to and making sure that it's followed up with guidance. Obviously, there are extremes that I would guide them away from until they're older, but if I relied on their ignorance to keep them out of trouble and mentally/emotionally healthy then I don't think that would make for mentally and emotionally well balanced adults.

Recent? That movement has been around as long as there has been civilization. There are always people who want to oppress how others express themselves.

Personally, I strongly believe that the concept of "bad words" is thoroughly ridiculous and I won't teach my children something that stupid. Instead I teach them that there are words that upset certain people and even though there is no logical reason for it there's no point upsetting people unnecessarily, especially people who can make your life more unpleasant. It's more about how people will treat them for using the language than about the language itself.

As for sex, I think that society sends too many mixed messages to kids about it so they're not learning modesty and moderation. Kids are having sex way too early it seems and I'm not sure what the best way to address the problem is. I deeply suspect it has more to do with kids not having enough supervision and guidance than with Britney Spears slutting it up.

It actually had nothing to do with that. It was about a misunderstanding over money which lead to a loss of tempers on both our parts. Both of us were being pretty childish and I regret that I hadn't maintained a cooler head but at least that's all pretty much water under the bridge.

With most of them, fairly good...though other than my mother who lives pretty close to me, I don't talk to any of them much. That's mostly because they live so far away and I shy away from calling people. I don't care to have anything to do with my half-brother, though.
