The fact that you think I can change the world makes me feel incredible because sometimes I feel that people see something like that as an unrealistic dream. How do I do it, you ask? Well, the only thing I can say is that I try my best to be a good person, and I encourage and push my friends and family to live up to their potential in hopes that they will do the same for someone else. It's a cycle, you know. You have no idea how much this question/comment means to me, given that it is my goal to inspire and influence people to better themselves in some way. Thank you so so much.

Not only was it the birth of my nephew that swayed me away from the ignorance and oblivion of society by using hurtful words, but it was also my dad who helped. My dad, the man I was raised by, is also diagnosed as 'mentally retarded,' so next time you decide to make assumptions about me and the life I live, make sure you have more facts. I have never, in my life, used the word 'retard' in an oblivious and ignorant fashion. Many many people are offended by the 'r-word,' not just me. There are many people out there who have intellectually disabled family members, friends, etc. What if you had a deaf mother and one day you were talking to one of your friends and you said 'what?' to something they said? And what if after that they said, " Man, you're deaf! I said..." Would you not be offended by the fact that someone is just throwing that word around and calling you 'deaf,' when you're not, but you also have a deaf mother at home? Think about it.

I have many goals, but my main goal is to help people realize how worthy and beautiful they are through the stories I write. Ever since I was a child, I knew that I was made to inspire people.

i don't think any of us really ever figure out who we are. we kinda just do what we do and go with the flow of life. at the moment, i think i know who i am... but i really don't. does that make sense? all i know is that i love who i am and i love my life.

Mrs. Carlton in the 3rd grade. She helped me through a lot, especially when I was picked on for the first time. She was the only person who really helped me out with that kind of stuff... my parents were too busy trying to control my older sisters to ever really notice when their younger kids had a problem. Mrs. Carlton took me out to eat outside of school and let me hang out in her classroom on weekends and help her decorate and stuff. Without her, I would not be the person I am today.
