I'm not fussed by their gender, just as long as we get on and allow each other our own space. Can't go wrong.

I do occasionally act differently around different people. Some people see one side of me, others see another.

I only tend to compare myself to others when there is a female involved.

I tend to be oblivious to flirting but if they were openly hitting on me, I'd tell them to leave it out. If it kept on happening, or I saw them being like it with someone else, I'd likely raise my concerns with my friend. But no, this has not happened to me.

First, I would need a partner. Secondly, I would be inclined to speak to the friend in question and find out what's going on, from their perspective. Tactfully, of course. Or just Hulk Smash them.
