i don't know if i so much have a "type."

it's weird, because i barely glance at like, really, really fit guys. i went to the gas station with my sister the other day and there were these two guys walking in as we were leaving. and i was making a total fool out of myself and didn't even realize there were guys around until my sister said in the car "did you not see those HOT guys?!" and i was like, "what hot guys."

and at the beach the other day, my friend was suddenly leaning over at me and she was like, "chelsea did you see that guy with the six pack and his totally hot friends?" and again, i was like, "what guys walked by here."

but when we went into gamestop at the mall and i overheard the guys who were working talking about a batman/dark knight video game, instantly i was attracted to them. and one of my other friends on the way out was like, "well those guys were weird looking" and i was like "omg weren't they adorable and i want to go back and give them my number would that be weird oh my god they were so cute."

i'm 110% attracted to intelligence/knowledge of a certain subject area, too. give me a hot guy who's dumber than a box of rocks and a by comparison not equally so guy who can tell me everything there is to know about ernest hemingway and instantly i gravitate towards the intelligent guy.

not saying that a fit guy can't be intelligent, i'm just saying, under any circumstance, i tend to fall for guys who are smart and can hold an intellectual conversation with me on anything from politics to video game logic. generally i don't pick on looks too much, which is why you'll barely catch me calling anyone "hot" without knowing more about them.

i'm sorry i can't get out of my head if victorian sherlock holmes and john watson went to go see something like this. i mean they were solving cases around the late 1880's so it's entirely possible.

      [mini fic warning]

"Watson. Have you seen this morning's post?"

      "Haven't had the chance. Why?"

"Apparently there is a spectacle in which horses dive from unreasonably high altitudes into water."

      "...Your point being, Holmes?"

      "I'd like to witness it."

      "You can't be serious."

      "For entirely scientific purposes, Watson."

"No. No, absolutely not, that's the most ridiculous idea I have ever -"

"Watson. There will be horses jumping from **high altitudes.** Pray tell how this is a bad idea."

"Holmes...Exactly when was your last case?"

      "...Four days ago."

      "And how stagnate are you?"

      "...."

"By which I mean, is this 'horse diving' the only thing keeping you from nearly killing Gladstone again?"

"....he hid after I slipped some morphine into his dinner."

      "....Get your coat."

      [whoops]

The Lion King - the only movie that has never failed to make me laugh, sing, and cry every time I watch it.

    4. Chelsea Lupin

Captain America, because he's so selfless and adorable yet vulnerable and still afraid of the horrors he's seen.

Batman, because of his ability to continue towards the greater good in spite of all the bad that's happened, and how he's been blamed, he still carries on.

Hawkeye and Black Widow, for being badass spies with hilarious humor and abilities you wouldn't expect from a superhero.

Iron Man, who became a hero on his own doing, and wants to do something about it.

Spider-Man, because of his intelligence and awkwardness and clumsiness, but ability to risk what he loves to save everyone and discover the truth.

      Robin, because yes-he-is-a-hero.

...honestly the only superhero I really don't like is Superman. Because he's too perfect and beautiful and doesn't have many flaws.... I'm just not a Superman fan.

    5. Chelsea Lupin

Ohhhhh.....The Harry Potter Series, is definitely one of them. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is another one... The Sherlock Holmes Series, Importance of Being Earnest, Dorian Gray, and Jane Eyre are classics that will be in my life forever...

I just have a lot of books that will resonate in my heart.

      Cheese. I cannot stand cheese.

I take it off of my pizza, I can't eat cheeseburgers, grilled cheese is only good when I drown it in tomato sauce. I can't stand the texture, flavour, or stretchy consistency of it. It just kind of disgusts me xD

I once at a whole box of Ritz Bitz Cheese Crackers....and threw them up that night. Needless to say, I haven't eaten anything with excessive amounts of cheese since.

"Yeah" or "Well, all righty then" or "You guys" or "You betcha."

Northwesterners are basically the Canadians of the United States xD I've legitmately had people come up to me - when I was in my own state - and ask me if I was from Canada. Er, no, I'm Minnesotan, but it's basically Canada to every foreigner xD Or fridging Norway or Sweden.

DON'TCHA KNOW WE GOT THOSE CORN FIELDS DOWN BY THE CRICK IN MINNIE-SO-TAH.

    10. Chelsea Lupin

Exhausted [if that can be a mood xD]. I spent all day today at the beach, shopping, and going tot he hospital to see my best friend's sister's baby :)

And and I got a Marvel Superheros comic book and an Avengers dogtag that has the Hulk on it [even when i wanted captain america so so so so badly] and one half of a LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 xD Overall it was a pretty productive day but i wanna sleep now...

and hold on i know his name. hold on. i got this. i swear i know his name. because i swear i've seen him in pictures before and there was a name attached to the face. i've got this.

.....like riley or something? no fuck that's not it. that's your orange cat i thought....oh my god this is killing me i know what this cat's name is but i don't.

...whatever he's still adorable. hai unbeknownst name cat :D xD

the newest version of an abundance of katherines, with the cover designed by a nerdfighter.

the complete first volume of sherlock holmes

...yeah, i'm pretty poor so i can't really afford to add more to my collection. plus i've stopped expanding it kind of because the larger it gets the harder it will be to take to college - i already have to leave most of my books home, which is like tearing my soul in half because those books are my babies.

    14. Chelsea Lupin

      the amazing spider-man.

which was rather amazing. better than the second and third spider-man movies at least.

spider-man isn't my favorite superhero, but he's better than most.

and did you know in the original avengers comic book [speaking of superheros] there's an ant-man and a bug-woman [or something]. imagine facing antman. like, whoo, you can summon ants at will and make them attack people. i can do that with a picnic.

      antman. really marvel. antman.

    15. Chelsea Lupin

      pokemon emerald bitches.

i love that game so much i have like six different pokemon parties because i can't even decide what pokemon to have in my party to battle with because i love them all.

i'm an awesome pokemon trainer okay i just give love to lots of different pokemon. that's not bad that's called diversity.

    16. Chelsea Lupin

      this cheers me up immensely.

because nothing cheers me up like reading something sassy from my bestest friend eran. there need to be more people like you - and everyone here - in this world. or at least in my area. whom i can see every day.

...the internet: where you can meet great best friends NOT in your area. who understand you better than the people who ARE in your area.

i generally like fruity, herbal teas over others. unless the fruity tastes are really strong.

i can't really name *types* of tea, but i can name what flavours i like in my tea.

i love cinnamon and pomegranate and orange flavours in my tea. cinnamon especially. and i like earl grey, even though it's not my favorite. strawberry flavours, berry flavours, and other earthy, sweeter flavours - but i like bitter flavours too, like certain teas with green tea leaves or charcoal or smokey flavors in them. i've tasted a tea before that literally was like spicy cinnamon with a smokey kind of aftertaste and aroma. it was different but delicious....

i sound like some sort of tea guro. which i am not. i just like tea xD

    18. Chelsea Lupin

usually very often. i like my sleep.

also unrelated to this at all but apparently i'm going to be unable to go to that con in the cities. because my cousin's having a baby shower. idk i'm still crossing my fingers but it looks bleak.

but it really pisses me off because only four months ago, my other cousin was having a wedding shower. and my sister got to miss that because she had a volleyball tournament. that was important to her. this is important to me. i know i sound selfish right now, but i love my cousin, i do, and i'm happy for her, but this opportunity to go to such an amazing thing - basically for free - only arises...never. i don't understand that whenever chelsea gets excited to do something - on thing - she can't do it. not even when her equal in every way got to do the exact same thing for something she was passionate for.

which brings me to a topic of why i can't stand.

my sister is athletic. she's a talented athlete. a fastpitch pitcher and a volleyball setter and my parents pride and joy. and recently she hurt her shoulder, so she can't pitch for awhile. and my parents have been absolutely ape about this. [oh there goes her scholarship. oh here comes surgery. blah blah blah].

and i know that if i came down with something that completely shattered my career or what i dreamed of doing - like getting wrist surgery and then further having difficulties writing, crippling my writing career - they wouldn't care nearly as much.

i'm really sorry about all this rambling lately, but i don't know where else to say it. i'm upset and pissed and have been ignoring my family all day because i can't stand to even talk to them. i'm tired of being so "second-class" to my "brilliant little sister." >_<

    19. Chelsea Lupin

here in the meantime have a horrible picture of my batman shirt while i'm drinking tea

      [it's pomegranate twinings tea]

      [i also have hob-nobs]

[and i just took a shower so my hair is scraggly]

    20. Chelsea Lupin

IS THIS COUSIN OLDER OR THE EXACT AGE OF SEVENTEEN BECAUSE I DESIRE TO MEET HIM AND FROLIC INTO THE SHERLOCKIAN SUNSET WITH HIM.

would that be weird if i dated your cousin if he was my age. probably. that'd be like if i dated erin's brother. a bit awkward, wouldn't it be?

GOD I AM SO OLD. I'M LIKE A FOSSIL. I AM LITERALLY AN ANCIENT FOSSIL OF A SPECIES CALLED CHELSEA.

i am so sorry for this i honestly don't know what's going on i just am a bit happy for no apparent reason and yeah formspring is getting the blunt end of it

BUT THERE IS A PERSON CALLED CLAIRE HERE AND I MUST DISCUSS WITH HER BECAUSE CLAIRE.

      claire. hey.

I SEEM SO BIPOLAR RIGHT NOW I'M LIKE THE HULK AND BRUCE BANNER LIKE RANDOM SPURTS OF CAPITAL LETTERS AND --

      ....

this was an embarrassing question answer.

"Nerds are allowed to love stuff, like...can't-control-yourself love it. When people call people nerds, mostly what they're saying is 'you like stuff.' You are just too enthusiastic about the miracle of human consciousness."
