I have! I enjoy the alt text on a few comics but I've been too lazy to put it in. Maybe I'll sneak them in on rare occasion when no one's looking.

I've always been a big history and mythology geek, and Underling is all about that stuff. Besides that, I draw from books(Discworld, American Gods) and comics and personal experiences.

I do believe that books and webcomics count as mind-altering, but I don't take anything besides those when I'm writing or drawing!

Really depends on how much detail you want. A simple lineart bust would probably be $10, something very elaborate might be $40+.

Pretty good! Constantly working on it has really improved my skills and the fact that it's caught on is an awesome bonus.
