Karaoke is Japan's revenge for Hiroshima.

It was my first semester of college. I did not have class on Tuesdays, so the night before I had told my boyfriend (who was still in high school) that I would make a picnic lunch and go eat lunch with him. I heard the news later then everyone else because I had spent all that morning playing "Black and White" to kill time before meeting him for lunch. I heard the news around 11:30 when I got into the car and turned on the radio. I picked my boyfriend up from school and we went to his house and watched the news with his family.

I mostly enjoy doing pastries, so my favorite desert type things to cook are chocolate chip cheesecake, coconut cream pie, chocolate covered strawberry cake and desert canolis.

My favorite non-desert things to cook are chicken enchiladas, challah, and bacon & cheese quesadillas.

I also make a lot of my own snack foods like homemade pickles, 'tater chips (both regular and sweet potato chips), pretzels, and salsa.

Pyramid Head is a very overrated character, IMO. I really don't understand why he has such a legion of followers. The appearances of Pyramid head that I know of are SH2, SH Homecoming, the SH movie, SH Arcade, as well as a few comics. There may be more, but since I have not seriously played any of the Silent Hill games, I am not an expert on that particular topic.

A standard Theran gryphon usually lives about 180 years... give or take. Like us humans, some have shorter or longer lives depending on lifestyle.

Fantasy: Gryphons... duh. :p
Real: Tough one. probably birds, but they always end up looking wonky because I'm so used to putting the back legs on there. Quaker parrots are a fave.

As for nerdy facts... hmmm.... well, humans are the only species on earth that cannot adjust their own spines.

I do, but only from people who know me very well as both a person and an artist. I have a tendancy to take things the wrong way, so this avoids any potential drama.

I still have Star Wars toys all over my house... though most of the Sarth Vaders are my hubby's. I prefer Revan. Compared to Revan... Vader is a Pansy. Death shouldn't stop a true sity lord!

I've watched to movies over 30 times each and never get tired of them. I play the video games, used to play the d20 RPG in College, and I have a few fan characters.

I think that it's safe to say that I'm a geek. >_<

That the "caramel" inside the candy bars are actually made of toad mucus.

It's happened before. I took some cold medication that closed my throat right up. I had to resort to writing on a piece of paper for a week.

A real living animal? Probably a quaker parrot. They're so cute and smart. ^^

Well, I have a blast drawing anything fantasy or sci-fi related... but the subject matter I know best are avian critters.

I am extremely laid back and usually don't let things bother me.

I have always been described as being "too nice" and am always willing to lend a hand to people who need help. Although I may not always have something to say, I will always listen and read comments..

I'd like to do some more fan art type things. Mostly DC/Marvel superheroes. I've been wanting to draw a Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) for my hubby since he's a big fan.

Other then that, I do like art of mesoamerica, but I've never tried to do anything in that style. :)
