We still do not know. We are working very hard to set up meetings with interested organizations, but at this point it is too early to tell!

You do not need to register online for spring recruitment. It is much less formal than fall so each chapter has a different method as to how they recruit. Chapters choose their own dates, so there is no set schedule, and some chapters even do invite only events. You can expect to meet some sisters of the sororities that you visit and informally talk with them about a variety of things- unfortunately I can't give you more details on how the events work because each chapter is different, but hopefully this helps!

Each sorority offers different options for payment. This is a question that would be appropriate to ask chapter members during recruitment to make sure that they offer the kind of payment options you need.

Great question! Greek village is always changing. Organizations come and go by choice, so if a house opens up the new sorority will have the opportunity to lease one. Otherwise, housing has offered to make arrangements for a floor or designated area of a residence hall if the women are interested.

Unfortunately, this is not a question that I can answer at the moment. Chapters are still in the process of determining whether or not they will be participating in spring recruitment. Once this has been determined, you will notice advertisements on campus for specific chapters or may receive an invitation from chapters doing invitation only events.

It should not matter if you live off campus. Some chapters do require members to live in the house for one year, but this is a policy that varies from one chapter to another so it would be a good idea to ask this during recruitment. Leases are typically filled by now, however, so if anything this would be a concern for next fall.
There is no set date for spring recruitment at this time. Basically, there is a quota or average number for our chapters. If a chapter finds itself anywhere below this quota, they start to prepare for spring recruitment. Typically chapters will assess their size in the beginning of the semester and begin marketing their own recruitment as soon as their events have been planned. My best advice to you is to keep your eyes open for more information, typically they will flier around campus or submit information to Note-A-Bull News etc. Unfortunately, you will most likely not get the chance to meet all 8 chapters if you choose to go through spring recruitment as opposed to fall.
Welcome to USF and thank you for your interest in Panhellenic! -

Different chapters offer different payment options, you would need to ask the individual chapters whether or not they allow payment plans. It is a great question for recruitment!

Hello! Though we are excited to expand are Greek community here at USF, we are still in the process of seeing which Panhellenic organizations are interested in joining us on campus. As soon as we process this and extend our invitation to another organization, we will be happy to let you know who our newest addition will be!
-
We are working on it! As a community, we have approved the expansion process and are currently waiting to hear from organizations that are interested in becoming a part of the USF Panhellenic community.

Spring recruitment for the USF sororities is informal, meaning there are no organized events by Panhellenic. The only chapters who are permitted to participate in spring recruitment are those chapters who fall below Panhellenic total during the regular year (not summer). Basically, this means that the only chapters that will be participating will have some room to take new members so that they can get back up to the average size. Each chapter taking part in spring recruitment will have their own way of inviting potential new members and advertising their event(s). Usually chapters will not prepare for spring recruitment until they have all of their up to date member numbers after break, and at that point they will start advertising their own spring recruitment process.

Hello,
Sorry that it has taken me so long to get back to your question, but I have an answer for you. Okay, seeing that you are a female you are able to go through the recruitment process as long as you meet the other requirements outlined by the Panhellenic Association here at the University of South Florida. I hope this helps! -
Panhellenic keeps records of the women who go through the recruitment process, yes. Greek life is a great experience and despite the fact that you may not have received a bid the first time around I would encourage you to GO FOR IT!!!
