If you’re referring to the same person, then it doesn’t matter what you call someone… yes I know ... but if you think that Allah and Yahweh is just different two names for the same god, you're wrong. Islam and Christianity are both monotheistic and believe that there is only one god and he is the creator but that doesn’t mean that Allah and Yahweh is the same god. And those are only the prominent and most known and worshiped gods. There are thousands of others gods out there that other people believe and worship... Somebody is wrong, they can’t all be right about God but the can all be wrong. My question to you was how you determined that your god is the right god (whoever he is) and all the other gods are wrong. How do you even know that there is only one god and not several?

The problem is when people define god and then say what he wants (because everyone seems to think that they know) ....as if an all power being needs you to speak for him... (btw I dont think a god could have a gender, I have a pantheistic view of god, so if you want to define god as nature, then I believe in god, but I don’t believe in a magical sky daddy super man for a god, who gives us a brain but doesn’t want us to use it lol)

Faith is believing something that is not based on proof or evidence.... I can have faith that my favorite team will win the game or I can have faith that my boyfriend and I will be together forever... but that doesnt mean its going to happen. Its okay to have faith sometimes but if a guy is trying to sell you a car and tells you that its a great car, are you going to have faith in what he said or are you going to test drive it, check under the hood and look at the cars history? The guy want to sell you the car to get your money and Religion, the bible and church was created to controll your mind and also take your money if you go to church. Dont think for youself, let the bible think for you.

What is free will? If someone holds a gun to your head and tells you "give me your wallet or die" is that really free will?.... So your God is saving your soul, from the very Hell that he himself created, where he would punish and torture you if you didn’t accept him as your lord... how the hell is that free will? That’s like a husband telling his wife, "you better have dinner ready by six, or I’m going to beat you" and then when she has dinner ready by six he says “you should be praising me for saving you from that ass beating I was going to give you” lmao

I could care less what you believe in, but when you start telling people "you cant get married or have an abortion cus my imaginary friend said so" etc. basically when your belief starts effecting my life, thats when I have a problem...

you made the claim that there is a god, and you defined him as an all loving and all powerful being... you can’t be all loving and You can’t be all loving and all powerful yet still allow innocent children to starve… its makes your claim seem highly unlikely

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

It doesn’t have to be validated because it really doesn’t matter, obviously I have a brain, and when I have thoughts they come for my mind, and when I have feelings and emotions they come from my soul and when I make a connect with someone or something it’s my spirit… but like I stated before, it’s all the same to me, it’s just my brain. Now if you want to believe that the mind, soul and body are all separate entities and that when your body dies your soul or spirit or whatever leaves your body and lives forever in paradise, then fine, suit yourself…. I personally haven’t found any reason to believe that, so I don’t… it’s a false hope if you ask me

    14. TweetNiek

You must have missed the "if" in the sentences.... I simply stated that I find it laughable IF u think that once I read the whole bible.....you right, I don’t know what you think, and I never said that’s what you think.... I said IF you think.... IF IF IF IF IF!!

No I dont see any logic and this statement, though I agree that a God would have to be beyone any book but if this God, he or she or whatever could just reveal its self to us and tell us directly what he/she/it wants, then everyone in the world would be believers (cus how could you not?), and there would be no need for a book!

I find this question laughable because this is not what atheists actually think, this is what Christians think atheists think. For one, you cannot be mad at something that you don’t believe exists. That’s just like telling someone who doesn't believe in the tooth fairy that they’re just mad because the tooth fairy didn’t give them any money, or telling someone who doesn’t believe in Santa Clause that they’re just mad because Santa didn’t bring them the right presents. Two, you arrogantly assume that atheist know that your God is the right God, despite the fact that there are thousands of other gods. How am I supposed to know that Yahweh, the Christian god is the right god? Because Christianity is the majority? We all know that the majority ain’t always right based on the white majority we have here in America. Christianity and Islam, the two dominate religions of the world have a combined following of approximately four billion people and no one can even determine whether Allah or Yahweh is the right god. Muslins and Christians are both monotheistic. They both think they are the chosen ones and that they are the only ones going to heaven while everyone else in the world is going to hell. They both think they’re right and everyone else is wrong, but they both have no evidence to back up their claims, besides their questionable holy books. Christianity is confusing enough, how the heck am I even suppose know which denomination is the right one? If you’re a Christian, you don’t believe in Allah and I don’t believe in Yahweh for the same reasons you don’t believe in Allah. So no, it is not the case that I am mad at god, not the case for me or any other atheist for that matter. If a person is mad at god then they are not an atheist, they are just an upset theist.
