True Valhalla from GMC. I follow you because I find you interesting and you are one of the few developers pursuing a living with GM, as I am :)

Started with no knowledge of programming or game development about 5-6 years ago now and pursued it as a hobby. About 2 years in I started learning how to code online games by hunting down all the examples and studying them for ages, experimenting, etc. I'm pretty driven when it comes to learning how to do things.

After a while I was getting into it, and started making my first online game, Realm One Online. It was pretty bad but after 2 months on the GMC had 700 replies and 18000 views on the topic - so that was cool :D

Realm One Online v2 went into development, and after a year it was in private beta and was pretty fun to play. We had around 100 accounts only in the beta but thousands of hours that players had logged.

Then I decided that the game wasn't able to be built upon, because my design was not great. I designed Myriad Online to work as well as possible with GM's restrictions, and got to work. After about 6 months I started learning C++ and moved to a C++ server...and that's where I am now =)

So, from someone that knew absolutely nothing about programming or networking, and now I'm working with more advanced concepts than I ever expected to. I know I'm no where near a professional or even semi-professional, but I think given my lack of prior knowledge I'm proud of where I am now and the goals I am working towards achieving!
