Good heavens, I'm sorry, didn't see this notice in my inbox! I'm sorry, but no, I clear old pipes off the server to free up space, and don't maintain any sort of collection of past work other than the Gallery pages on the site.
-
It depends on what sort of cannon I've fired it out of.
-
Yes, it is. You can use Paypal by clicking the "Add to Cart" button there on the page:

I am sorry, but that pipe has been sold for some time - It is marked sold on the site.
Happy Smoking,

Oh yes, we're fine. We are a long way from the coast, about a 4-5 hour drive. Right now it is a little cloudy and windy here, but that's all so far.

Given your Dawes reference, I'm thinking I've already answered this by email. Weird, I never got an email notice that this question had arrived.
-
They do tend to sell fast, so probably your best bet is to either subscribe to our email list or follow our RSS feed, where we send announcements of new catalog posts. That's how people get notice whenever there is something new to see.
-
Our website sales all run through Paypal, which can process any credit cards even if you don't have a Paypal account.

I'm finishing up a new Talbert today and shipping some stuff. I'll be doing photography all afternoon and evening, and most likely the next update will happen tomorrow.
-
Not in the next week, but soon. It's been way too long since I updated their catalog with new pipes.

I haven't been planning to, no. I haven't been able to accumulate any inventory that I could bring to make it worth getting a whole table. I'll attend, though.

There aren't any available at the moment, sorry. I only make a few a year, for October, and skip years often. The problem is that they take forever to make, and aren't very profitable despite their high prices, so it's difficult to work them into the schedule. I would honestly have to double their current prices to really make them worthwhile, economically speaking. At the moment I'm debating whether I want to do any this year at all, or focus instead on making a few nice Christmas pipes.

The only pipe show that I am aware of in Europe is the Rheinbach show in Germany, near Cologne. That is an excellent show, though, with many of the top European pipe carvers there every year, and a good crowd. There was an attempt to start a show in Paris a few years ago, but it flopped. Other than those, I am not aware of any other consumer-oriented EU pipe shows. But there are probably others out there that I don't know about.

I just polish it as I normally would any other type of vulcanite. The cumberland I have is all German also. I have noticed that some color blends are softer, and harder to shine - Hard compounding will leave a matter surface rather than a gloss, due to the softness of the material. This sort of material can be polished to a shine with a lower speed wheel and less pressure, but generally isn't the best for pipe stems due to its softness (It's good for tampers and pens and similar, though).

I'm sorry, I have no idea - Don't know anything about Jim's stamping.
-
They normally sell near the thousand dollar mark, sometimes much higher. They're the most expensive pipes I make.

Actually, we're living in Greensboro now. Good to hear from you! I did a search for "Cathy Buck" on Facebook, but got about 200 different people and couldn't find one that looked like you.
