The only significant difference is that I've stopped denying what I am and thinking I'm crazy. Now I'm going something to heal myself and accepts myself for who I am.

What I value most in my music is, (and this is in order of importance to me) a great lyricist, great sound of the music itself, Story, voice, and atmosphere. But all in all, it depends on the person I am that day. There are days when I listen to something that isn't deep and meaningful because I need sound to do what I am doing, but need it to not distract me by being a story or profound. There are days when I need the music to fit the atmosphere I am in. For instance this time of year I bring out my Rob Zombie, ICP, and Manson. But Manson qualifies also for the group of excellent lyrics and profound meaning as well as a great atmospheric sound. Coheed and Cambria is a band I've discovered two years ago and I love the story, sound, AND wonderful lyrics. I love how you can take the music at face value, or delve deeper into this epic science fiction story with magic, love, and adventure. I think I've gone on too long here, but I hope I've made some sort of point.
